I am a small business owner and usually read reviews before hiring someone, and the minute I didn't read this company's reviews and let my guard down I got screwed. Troy & Corey should not be in business. Buyers beware!!! They will scam you out of your money. I needed both my tub painted in my home, he came out to my home and looked at it and quoted me a price. I called him a month later to paint my tubs, he did a horrible job. He ran off and left before I could even get to the home at 5pm to inspect & say thank you, even though he told me he would be done after 5pm. I go there immediately found out the master bedroom tub was not completely done. Immediately text him photos and he assured me he would return the next day to correct the error. I text him the next morning and he stated he would be there to get the job done in between his now current job (remind you this is the next day). I text him over 4-times that day and he promise he would show up and never did. He will promise you nothing but great work and then you live with the nightmare. I'm praying to God whatever work was done to my tubs don't start stripping more when my Guests starts using it the tubs. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Save yourself the headache. We sued him, and won a judgement against him in small claims court, but he likes to be paid in cash…read moreor check, then he goes to the back to cash the check immediately, so I'm not sure if we're ever going to get our money back. He and his son are crooks. Do not use this company. My husband and I paid Troy Stuart, the owner, half of the money upfront to paint the exterior of our home. He did not prep the house properly, like cleaning, scrapping, sanding away loose paint and caulking. He told us he would give us our money back, but he never showed up with our money, and when we called, he of course did not answer or return our messages. He kept our shutters for about 2 weeks, because he said he would paint them in the AC, and even left early one day to paint them, but when he brought them back, they had not been painted. Material we bought, like wood, paint rollers and plumber's tape, he took when he left. He and his son, Corey, painted over loose paint, and told my husband and I that you're supposed to paint over loose paint because the new paint will show you where the bad areas are, and then you scrape that paint off, and put on another coat, and you repeat the process. We told him we knew that wasn't true, and that the house needed to be scraped, sanded where needed, caulked and properly cleaned, (none of which he did before adding new paint) before adding new paint to the exterior of our home. In addition to all of this, he left paint chips and rotten wood on our roof, and on the ground, and we have small children...the youngest is 1. There is still mold and dirt on the house. He tried to use the new paint as caulking, and now we have cracks in the new paint, and peeling everywhere he attempted to paint. He didn't prep the house at all, and when we told him the house needed proper prepping before painting, he quit. There are also spots where they used too much paint causing running paint. Please do not use him, he is a crook, liar and a thief. He will take your money and not complete the job, or start it and not do it right. My husband and I are now in the process of finding a new contractor to correct what he did. He also told us we had to buy the paint, which all the contractors who've been to our home have stated is bad paint for the exterior of the home. Where there was raw wood, he did not prime it, so the new paint is chipping away everywhere. Please do not hire him. He does not stand behind his work, and he will take your money without a second thought. He's a crook.
