I've had crepes, which are tasty but a bit expensive, and I've also tried ice cream and carrot cake. Desert avenue is a new dessert shop in Murphy and it deserves all the hype. The interior is decorated really nice with plenty of seating. They even have games that you and your friends can play with while you're there. I got the lavender shake and it was so good. It has that obvious floral taste and every sip leaves me wanting to drink some more. It's big enough where two people can share one shake as well. Went here trying to kill some time in between some kiddo's sport games. The place is alright-enough to go to for a breakfast or brunch. Didn't try the desserts, but did get a coffee and a small breakfast plate of french toast. French toast was fine/good my son said, but what i will say is that the pricing here was pretty high for what you got. The sourdough had a bitter taste to it and was pan fried instead of toasted so it had soggy and spongy texture. Overall the breakfast selection was not all that. What a GEM of a place! Kaif was so kind and welcoming from the moment we walked in. He gave us samples of ice cream and was also so accommodating when I told him it was my husband's birthday and asked if they had candles for the cake! I love this place. I have been a quite a few times and my experience is pretty consistent. The people here are so sweet and helpful. I regret not visiting sooner it is the perfect place for me to study they have a small food menu and desserts of course. If you are someone who values aesthetics they don't lack in presentation. The environment is pretty chill most of the time but crowds typically comes in waves. I don't have anything negative to say at all I love it here and I really appreciate their employees so much.
