Best piece of advice is not to purchase a dress from here without speaking to a seamstress about realistic alterations first.

I was sent an email from Galia asking for feedback. I left my honest feedback. The store manager called me and we talked and had a great conversation. She offered me another appointment and I was all for offering them a second chance! I thought we were going to turn this relationship around! I came to the store looking for a specific dress for my son's wedding, which I had seen on their website. When I arrived, I was told that they did not have the dress in the store and that they could not order it. As a result, I ended up choosing a different dress that was not the one I originally wanted simply because they had it available in the store. Two days later, I called and spoke with the manager. I explained that I had specifically gone to their store because I wanted that particular dress and that I wanted to order it. After a very difficult conversation, they eventually agreed to order it, but only under several terms that were unfavorable to me. I accepted those terms because, ultimately, I just wanted to have the dress I had originally chosen for such an important occasion. The dress arrived a month later than the date I had originally been given. When I went in for my fitting, the overall attitude of the staff was very unpleasant. Coincidentally, there was another customer at the store who was interested in ordering a different dress, and she was being pressured to pay for it before the dress was even ordered, without knowing how it would fit. She was wiser than I was and ultimately left the store without placing the order. The seamstress was the only person who was genuinely attentive and helpful during my fitting. Unfortunately, the attitude of the rest of the staff, including the owner, made it very clear that my presence was not welcome. At my second fitting, I was told that I would simply try on the dress, and if everything looked good, I could leave it there to be picked up another day after it had been steamed and prepared. However, when I went to pick it up, the dress was covered in loose threads and had not been steamed or properly prepared. I had to ask the person handing it to me if they could at least steam the dress before giving it to me. Regarding your response to my review, I honestly have no interest in discussing this matter with anyone else. Please let your daughter, Yanitza, know that I do not wish to receive any further messages from her regarding this issue. As far as I am concerned, this matter is closed, and I have no intention of returning to a place where I was treated poorly. I also forgot to mention that the person who assisted me on Friday when I came to pick up my dress was extremely rude to me. In addition, when she brought out my dress, she dragged it across the entire store until she reached the fitting room, when, given the length of the dress, she should have lifted it instead. If you have any doubts about what I am describing, I encourage you to review the security cameras at your location. Given the location of your store and the high prices of your dresses, I would expect a much higher standard of customer service. I strongly recommend that you provide your staff with additional training on professionalism, courtesy, and proper customer service. Once again, as far as I am concerned, I will not be returning to your store.

We were there a few years ago for another family member and it was great, but this time, the attitude from the women in the front was nasty. We walked in with coffee and you would have thought we were tracking in dog poop or worse. It's just about the way you say things . We had no problem not taking our coffee inside, just tell us nicely. Unless they are trying to give the real French bitches attitude experience. It just took away from the whole experience which was sad because the woman that tended to us was really amazing.
