I would like to send out a word of caution and warning to shop here at your own risk. I wish I had seen something like this before coming in here. My experience with Bellissima Bridal was an absolute nightmare. I feel obligated to share my story to prevent others from falling in the same trap. I want to preface this by saying that after I purchased my dress they offered a discount for my fitting or veil if I left a positive review. I am relieved I didnt rush to review until the full process of picking up my dress -- a decision that ultimately saved me from endorsing business that does not deserve any praise. The dress I found at this shop was beautiful but not the color I envisioned walking down the aisle in. They assured me that they could order it in ivory, and so I did. I live far from Miami and wanted a special moment with my entourage. Knowing I had a few weeks and no big alteration with a seamstress ready back home I went to pick up my dress. Opening the garment bag I was in complete shock to find the color was a darker, nude material. What made this a truly horrible experience was the way they handles the situation. What they did: Play the blame game: I was told yes you did order this a few times before I reminded Yadiris that we numerously said before ordering to make sure it was in white. Lack of empathy: Not once did Yadiris or Omar apologize instead any time we calmly tried to voice concern they spoke over us saying "ITS FIne, its FINE!" As if no care in the world. Unprofessionalism: The way she lacked in helping me into this dress and even the way she shoved it in the dress. She didn't try to check the invoice or call the design company. It was a complete shift from the day we purchased they just wanted us out before the next client. Lack of communication: We went back inside to ask for a copy of the receipt which showed the dress was ordered in white. We asked if they could contact the designer they insisted to fix with a seamstress and a different material. I spent a week trying to follow up because I had to talk to the manager, but she was never available or there. We were basically told that they would not rush the designer and it would take far to long for a new dress and there was no communication about there making any contact with the designer so I took it upon myself to do so. They let me know they had made contact with Bellissima Bridal. Lack of finding a solution: due to all the factors above a quickly decided to ask for a full refund as per their customer service guideline which state that if they get the item, size, or COLOR wrong that you may receive a full refund. My dress was to be ready by September and it was never verified. They told me it would be impossible to receive on and so I requested a refund. Suddenly I am finally in communications with a manager who is doing everything possible to rush order a new dress. I let her know it wont get here in time anyhow but she did not care and ordered an unauthorized dress. The manager, Maria Elena, who happens to be married to Omar, has refused me a warranted refund and is adamant to send me a dress which will no longer serve me after the lack of communication and professionalism not to mention trustworthiness she created for me. Bellissima Bridal failed to uphold their own policies and standards on customer service. Be aware that when they get it wrong they will not care. I only wish I had seen some of these reviews including my own. I urge all brides to steer clear of this establishment and find a bridal shop that values their brides and most of all fairness. read more

Yes, I had to send the dress designer a message to confirm my dress was legitimate and she was the one to tell me that my dress was discontinued. Meanwhile, your boutique sold me a dress telling me it's a private collection and that is why my dress couldn't be ordered. And the fact that you sold me an overpriced dress like it's new and this year's collection. I could have bought the same dress online for a small fraction. Cannot compare I bought the dress for $4000 and it's sold online for $1400 You obviously reading wrong. My family did not support my decision. Also, the problem is not that the dress is discontinued. The problem was that I was lied to! The other obvious problem was that your salesperson did not make the experience enjoyable for me. Your feedback shows how much you do not care about your customers. You completely disregard everything I was saying. This is just a warning to everyone who reads this. Friend getting married=friend trying on dresses. Made multiple appointments on afternoon to see dresses in miracle mile. This was the worse spot. We arrived for our scheduled appointment and they told us to come back later because they were busy... wait what? we come back and all the dresses are in bags in racks (you cant find or really even see anything) my friend tried a couple of dresses on just do get it over with but the service was horrible and the girls that worked there keeped talking amongs themselves instead of helping. oh and the worse thing: NO PICTURES! you cant take pictures? thats just ridiculous. read more

This is the 2nd dress store I visited back in March 2020. They were very attentive and welcoming. They pulled some dresses based on my description of what I was interested in. He even made a suggestion for a dress I was sure wasn't my style. Well, he was right, I tried it on and loved it! Had it not been for his suggestion and vision, it may have taken me much longer to find my dream dress. A few days after, everything was on lockdown due to the pandemic. Luckily, once things opened up again, I was able to select appointments for fittings that were convenient with my schedule. Every time I went, they were so welcoming and enthusiastic for my big day. I came to this store looking for the dress of my dreams and if I found it, I loved the designer who made it, I felt like a princess in it, so I didn't even think about it and bought it immediately, just like my veil that was perfect I paid my complete dress that day and they told me that it would arrive from 3 to 5 months maximum to arrive both. I have called several times because it has been 5 months and I have never received a call or email from this store. In month 7 they call me that my dress is ready, but the veil still took a while because it supposedly came from China. My dress arrived almost in November and the wedding was on February 5, 2023 and I had paid for everything in April 2022, after a long wait, anxiety and uncertainty, they called me a few days before my wedding that the veil I had that it was paid was not the same because supposedly the designer was not going to do it anymore, that is, they waited 11 months to tell me something like that a few days before. my wedding. When I went to look for the veil, the seller Yadiri offered me another similar veil, one of the used ones that they have in the store that everyone tries on for the same value that I paid $800 for, which was new and exclusive for an old one, but The saddest thing was that they never gave me free or discount options after all the stress I felt. However, the saleswoman Yadiris always kept a calm attitude despite my anger, she was friendly but I never received excellent service, that is, it was normal. I was never given any options since I had to borrow a veil to be able to do the hairstyle test. In short, this store only cares about money, the customer is not a priority for the owner of this business, I never saw her face. This person named Maria, who they say is the owner, never showed up, not even an apology call, for all the stress they caused me. This store that claims to be exclusive to me has zero on everything. My sister bought her wedding dress here and although it was a beautiful dress, I would go anywhere else but here since the brand is sold across many bridal places.... we paid over $4,000 cash for a dress and you would think they would treat a customer better but they wouldn't do a fitting on a weekend for my sister who works full time. Then they wanted to over charge for an alteration that was never needed...... and wouldn't even let my sister try on HER paid off dress before handing it to her since she wanted a separate alteration done apart from the shop. The customer service is terrible and you would want nothin but positivity and good vibes when you're wedding day is approaching but this place left the worst experience that is resonating in my sisters head. Wish I could do it all over again and go to a different bridal shop this place is absolute garbage with their customer service and in this industry, auto met service should always be a priority. Get new workers or the owner must do something different I didn't put this on no credit card no payment plan we paid this whole dress off in cash. We sat and talked with my consultant (who was amazing) about what style I was looking for and if she thought anything else would complement my curvy body. She gave me about five to six dresses to try on, and after the third one I didn't need to try on any more, I had found THE ONE! We were given champagne and we were able to take pictures and celebrate, as a bride should when she finds her dress! What is almost as important is that the prices were very reasonable, and if you don't have all the money right then and there they have a great payment plan if you need it. I purchased my wedding dress from Bellissima and had a pretty great experience. They offer 6 month no interest financing by GE, which was incredibly convenient for me. They have a huge selection and I ultimately found my dress at this store. They have a large selection of dresses and the staff is friendly. UPDATE: The store has been completely renovated. It looks gorgeous. They've tiled the store and changed the lighting. I went today for my alterations and they were fantastic as usual. From the moment I walked in I felt uncomfortable in this salon. The dresses are all in bags on racks and you have to walk through and pick them yourself with very little guidance or help. The dressing rooms are tiny, messy, and HOT. My consultant, Maria, came into the dressing room and, before I've even tried one on, said "Are you going to buy one now or no?" I answered that if I find the right one I will but this was my first time trying on dresses. After that she didn't even help me get into the gowns except to clip them. I guess that wasn't the answer she was looking for. I didn't even try on all of the dresses I picked because I just couldn't wait to get out of there. Lastly, this is the only salon I've been to where you can't take photos, which seems like a pretty dumb practice seeing as how a lot of brides have multiple appointments and won't make a decision on the spot. read more

I have to say, this isn't the best looking bridal shoppe on the Mile, but it is the one with the most Watters dresses and the staff is unlike any other. Helpful to the max! I tried on like 15 dresses at this shoppe, which to me was 14 too many to be honest. I bought a dress that everyone in my party stated fit my style the best. I ended up hating the dress a week later. The dress I had originally bought was not meant for me. I was meant for a more classic and better, and apparently more expensive, style. The bridal fairies knew that dress was not meant for me and I was itching for a different dress. When Lo, and behold, I found the dress to say "yes" to. A second time around. The Bellissima Bridal Fairies came through! They were so nice and empathetic to my issue. I ordered the dress a size bigger just in case but I doubt I'll need that extra size. I did feel that I got pushed into buying a veil that was completely over priced but other than that they were willing to discount my dress a tad and were extremely helpful. This store could use a renovation. Also, abuela is in the back making adjustments to your dress. Tip them well if you know what's best for you. read more

Of all the bridal shops on the mile I suggest brides go elsewhere. Staff comes across snobby and a non welcoming environment. Dress shopping should be a fun, exciting experience with your bridal party. This is the only store on the mile that does not allow pictures and they take the labels off the dresses so you won't know the designer. I found THE dress here but because of their awful service/experience I decided to spend my money elsewhere. Bijou Bridal and Merili Bridal right across the street have exceptional service and wants Brides to have a wonderful experience. Don't waste your time here. My suggestion to this store - work on your customer service and bride to be experience. I was greeted by a very friendly and helpful staff, and found my dress immediately! They even popped a bottle of bubbly to celebrate . I live in LA and was in Miami for work so decided to stay the weekend and have my mom and sister from Chicago, meet me so we could celebrate my engagement. We went to 2 other bridal boutiques and ended up at Bellissmia where the 1st dress I tried on, I bought! I am in love with my dress. While in the shop, the customer service catered to us and they even had Disney princess music playing which was very sweet and enchanting. Bellissima Bridal was the third place I went to on Miracle Mile. I was pretty tired by the time I got there and was feeling a little disheartened that I had tried on so many dresses and hadn't found the one yet. I don't even remember telling the woman who helped me (Yadiris) what styles I liked but she somehow managed to pick two fabulous dresses that were my taste. I really liked the first one I tried, but then I tried on the next one and it was PERFECT!! I'm not sure if I was tearing up from exhaustion or from finally finding "the one" but I was over the moon excited that I had found such a beautiful dress that I loved! My mom and best friend who were with me also fell in love with the dress immediately. Yadiris asked me if I would "say yes to the dress" but because I didn't want to make a rash decision, I told her I wanted to come back that week and try it on again, just to make sure, and she was totally understanding. So, on Thursday of that week, I went again to try on the dress with 2 of my other bridesmaids. This experience was great! They had just moved into their new bridal salon and it was BEAUTIFUL, very organized and clean (I don't know if it was because they were moving, but their original store felt a bit crowded and unorganized). Also, because I went on Thursday evening, we were the only ones in the store. I tried on the dress once more, with the help of the wonderful Yadiris and I loved it again and knew immediately as my friends both cried that this was it! I said "YES TO THE DRESS!" Yadiris also let me try on different veils and headpieces and was so patient! I also loved the ones she picked out! When I came in, they were very attentive, looking for dresses that matched my style. I think it must have been 4 different employees helping me out. Despite the unusual circumstances, they made it a great experience, especially with the option to have any dress I wanted to personally try on delivered to my house. I was so disappointed with the customer service at this bridal salon. The women that work there acted like we were an inconvenience and were very stuck up. I had a big group of girls and my mother with me (all of who flew here from the west coast to help me find my dress) and they treated us poorly. They took what should be an amazing and exciting experience and made us all feel uncomfortable and unwelcome in their store. If anyone in my party critiqued a dress, the consultants were quick to defend the dress instead of understanding and listening to the critiques in order to help choose a dress that would have fit the bride better. Thankfully, I have now found my dress elsewhere at a great studio called Le Vie En Blanc. My group went to many salons and this was by far the worst. read more

I was really disappointed by this place. I did purchase my wedding dress here only because I happened to find it here, not because they helped me pick it out. After describing to them what I wanted, they picked out a bunch of dresses I wasn't into . . . My friend found this one on the rack and brought it to me. It was exactly what I had described and, really, she should be a personal shopper but it was surprising that they couldn't pick it out for me themselves. This was after they ignored us for 10 minutes after arriving promptly at our 4pm appointment on a Saturday. People always talk about how they celebrated with champagne when they found their dress . . . None of that happened for me at all. Felt more like I was doing them a favor . . . Now to the real reason for my review . . . Alterations were the worst experience ever!!! My wedding is in less than 3 weeks so after going to my 4th fitting and being horrified by what I saw (again) I complained enough with my mom and sister in law that they gave us back the over $500 spent on alterations so I could go somewhere better. Their seamstress had no clue what she was doing. She left me with a pouch on my stomach, bubbles down the side of the dress and a less-than-flattering fit on the back. I'm nowhere near fat but felt like a little chunk monkey in the dress. The worst part is the people working there tried to tell me it was normal. If it was so normal they wouldn't have given me back all my money so easily. Total rip off. I took it emergency to someone all the way in pompano today but could tell the second I met her that she knows what she is doing. Luckily, she can undo all the damage this lady did to the dress. She could tell from the second I put it on what was wrong while the lady at bellissima would circle me clueless pinning and unpinning. I would come back each time to hardly anything done and the dress getting worse and worse. Today she had even forgotten to hem it for the 3rd time! If you happen to find your dress there great but, trust me, take it somewhere else for alterations. Total nightmare! read more

I went to pick up my dress after my final fitting and it would barely zip up.... they tried to blame it on "changing my undergarments" which was a complete joke because I had the same ones on when I was fitted even more I had lost weight. They made my back have digusting fat rolls because the dress was so tight and they insisted the dress couldn't be altered. Mind you I'm a 5 4" & 127 lbs, I'm not tiny but by nowhere near fat. They basically RUINED MY WEDDING!!!! Also note I ordered the dress 8 months in advance and I didn't get it till 3 days before the wedding!!! Im not kidding!!! I am beyond livid that no told me my wedding dress would stretch. I showed up for the first fitting and the dress was so tight on my back. I lost about 8 pounds, yet it was so tight I couldn't take a full breath. The dress was restricting my lungs from expanding. I requested to loosen it. I was told that if I was on my period I could have swelling on my back (even though I typically don't bloat or swell). However, isn't this something they should tell you BEFORE YOU COME FOR A FITTING. "Try not to come when on your period." So I had to go back all the way to coral gables another day, in the middle of the day, when I was already pressed for time at this point. When I went back it did fit a tad better, but it was still a tad too tight and I was scared I was not going to last all day in the dress so I had them take it out a bit. They did do it right there and I waited for it. So, at least I didn't have to go back again. On my wedding day, the dress finally fit perfect- for like the first hour. Before it stretched, the PHOTOGRAPHER (used to work at a bridal store) tells me something about how my dress is going to stretch. That was pretty upsetting. The dress did wind up stretching like she said. What was even more upsetting was that it stretched around the bust area. I wear a 34C (sometimes D) and I looked like those girls with a bunch of padding that have completely flat chests. That is pretty crazy considering I don't have small boobs. You could almost see my nipples if you were standing to my side!!! It stretched about a good TWO INCHES!!!! WTF! HOW COULD NO ONE HAVE WARNED ME ABOUT THIS. I would have never taken it out. Second, no one explains to be how to bustle the dress!!! They sewed two clear buttons under where my butt is and another two bottoms at the end of the train. What am I supposed to do with 4 buttons. At the wedding, no one could figure it out. I had four different people look at it, including myself 5. No one could figure it out. We had to pin it up with safety pins for the first dance!!!!! A little after the train fell down. Finally the photographer knew how to do it and saved the day. I don't have the dress with me at the moment but I will try to post a photo later. There are no words for how mad I am and the level of INCOMPETENCE from the staff at this store. It's not rocket science. My other complaint is their alterations are ridiculous. I spent about $300-$320 not including hemming because it was a perfect length. I was told hemming would have been another $200. So a normal height or short girl would have been $500. I only did basic alterations: Taking in, pads for bust, and bustle for train. read more

Bellissima was a waste of my time. I made an appointment and told them what I was looking for, but they were mostly unprepared when I got there. The girls didn't want me to try on any dresses below a 14, even though I told them I had tried on 10 and 12 samples by the SAME designers at other bridal shops with no problem. The consultant who helped me the most did not listen to a thing I said about my style. She kept giving me puffy, fluffy dresses that made me feel like a 18 year-old-girl SUPER excited to get married ::skweeeeee:: and that is not who I am. I saw sophisticated dresses I wanted to try on and they just ignored me. Many dresses were dirty and wrinkled, and even one dress I had tried on and loved at another salon just looked terrible on me at Bellissima, because it was dirty and wrinkled and the lighting and decoration in the store were so terrible that it was hard to feel pretty in there. I got in and out in less than 20 minutes even though I tried on about 8 dresses. That's a testimony to how bad the experience was. I wanted to get out of each dress the second it went on and I wanted to get out of the store as fast as possible. Luckily, Priscilla's was across the street. I also thought they were pricy, which could be the fact that we're in Coral Gables, but the dress I had tried on before somewhere else was $2600 at Bellissima and $2195 in Gainesville. read more

The gave me the best price I could find on the dress and were a true pleasure to work with. The seamstress had a lot of work to do once my dress arrived and she did a spectacular job. The staff was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. I felt very relaxed and comfortable.
