I initially learned about The Bridal Project from a friend of mine who knew the owner, Martina. When one of my friends became engaged and asked me what stores she should visit, I immediately suggested The Bridal Project because i'd heard such great things. Although my friend didn't end up purchasing her gown from The Bridal Project, I liked Martina and her shop so much that when it came time to shop for my sister's wedding gown, this shop was on the short list. Visiting The Bridal Project feels like a veritable couture, bespoke oasis. Unlike some Coral Gables shops that shall remain unnamed, where they give you an infinitesimal block of time, only show you the dresses they have as part of the particular trunk show that's taking place that day, and then harass you to make a purchase on the spot, The Bridal Project is a dream. Like other shops, guests are seen by appointment, but only one bride is attended to at a time, so you have the whole shop to yourself. I've been to The Bridal Project several times now since my sister purchased a dress there, and never have we felt rushed or pressured in any way. On the contrary, both Martina and the designer, Dora Sasu have been patient, helpful, resourceful, warm and kind. The Bridal Shop has an array of gowns and designers to choose from; however, one of those is a local superbly talented designer who makes beautiful bespoke wedding gowns. Thanks to Dora, my sister was able to create exactly what she wanted right along with the designer. So, the dress was built to her body and is absolutely perfect. Dora even exceeded my own very high expectations. My sister's experience at the The Bridal Shop was so great that I've recommended it to several friends since. My daughter almost said yes to the dress here. This was a very special place. Very boutiquey and unique. A collection of special designers. My fav designer was Anna Campbell. I would describe most of the dresses as a mix of very high end fabrics, beading and craftsmanship at much less than you would expect for such quality, a touch of vintage and/or boho flair, and definitely one of a kind. And the designers will mix and match and truly customize...you could pick one style of top and add another style of bottom. Martina was superb with her knowledge of the vendors, fabrics, upcoming releases, etc. she was extremely attentive and made the entire experience fun. I was so in love with one dress!!! But I do have two critiques. The favored dress did not have any padding or temporary bra cup whatsoever in the bodice, yet. Although it could be added in later, and by the way--all alterations come free of charge, as these are made for the customer type dresses, it made my daughter's gorgeous figure seem a touch flat chested. And second, the amazingly gorgeous and stunning fabrics are not pure white white. They were more of a candle or ivory color. So my daughter chose a pure white dress elsewhere, with a more flattering top that made her body look absolutely killer (modestly, of course) that her bride squad deemed more "bridal". If you are a romantic bride in search of a one of a kind dress, this is your place. We had endurance, so finally found our one of a kind dress, 8 shops and over 100 dresses later. read more

The Bridal Project saved my wedding!!! A dress that I had ordered from another shop came in a month before my wedding and 4 sizes too small! I was told no one could get me a dress in that amount of time. I went to the Bridal Project because they carried a designer I loved and not only did they get me a dress but they went above and beyond to negotiate with the designer to have it ready for my wedding in just 3 weeks time!! The designer has already said no and they kept fighting for me! They truly saved my wedding! I would have been so upset if I had to wear a dress I didn't love on my wedding day and have been stuck with those photos for the rest of my life. Martina and her staff were so sweet and so helpful I will only recommend them to my brides friends moving forward. It's rare to find a bridal shop that truly cares about their brides and they certainly do! I can't thank them enough for all that they did and what a pleasant experience it was trying on gowns at their shop. The staff was knowledgeable and had a lot of ideas and suggestions regarding alterations, shoes, headpieces and veils. They didn't rush me. It was like shopping with two best friends. On top of all of that the bridal shop itself is so pretty and cute it's the perfect calm setting to try on bridal gowns. They have as beautiful dresses as chic parisen and ever after but they are everything great that is terrible about those places .... they give u all the time in the world, they aren't pushy and they listen. I had to buy my dress without my mom present and they treated me like family and made the whole experience magical for a girl who never even cries I bawled out of joy . Genuinely beautiful dresses do yourself and check them out before you commit . They had dresses from designers shakira wears with the most beautiful lace and not to mention I got the most beautiful Julie Vino dress ever .... think Berta but with option of her Lower line and being easily less than half the price And omg if you like sparkle and beautiful embroidery wow there were some stunning dresses that just did not fit my venue that were amazing . As I am just starting my search for the dress, I wanted to get a feel for a few different bridal dress shops. After all, a wedding dress is a serious purchase for a once-in-a-lifetime event. Of about 8 stores with appointment policies, the Bridal Project is the only one which would not allow me to come in for 15 minutes to get a feel for the store and see the sort of items on sale. I understand why there's an appointment policy if you want to try on dresses; I do, but the fact that the store does not allow people to come in and get a feel for things to make their search more efficient makes me think it's not a very welcoming place. I'd rather shop somewhere more welcoming and understanding. read more

What a great experience! I went in for a veil for my wedding dress and Martina and the designer that worked on the veil were fantastic. I had to postpone my wedding due to COVID and have not felt excited about the wedding as a result. IF I COULD GIVE 100 STARS I WOULD! I had made my appointment at The Bridal Project months in advance, and the communication was always quick and detailed. They always sounded excited to hear from me, which made me feel special and well-received. They were also able to get almost ALL of the dresses I had requested for the Carol Hannah trunk show, including the one I had fallen in love with. That was just the beginning of their stellar customer service. When the day finally came for my appointment to see these dresses, I had an unfortunate reaction to a medication and had to push back my appointment for later that day (I was NOT going to miss this!). They did not ask any questions, they accommodated me at their latest time frame, when they would have been closing. They had the makeup chair ready for me and everyone was concerned about me. I was treated like gold and they let me take my time with the dresses, trying some on more than once. The positivity and professionalism from Jasmine and Martina was so impressive to me, I did not receive this amount of graciousness from my previous day at another store in Coral Gables. The location was also clean and intimate and parking was very easy. I was not pushed to purchase or hurried to make a decision, they were patient and the most important thing, is that they were honest. If a dress did not do it, they let me know and we moved on. When I finally made my decision I felt like I was among an intimate group of friends, and they walked us effortlessly through the process of ordering. The thing that stood out the most to me was their genuine excitement for me, their honesty and patience. I work in the Hospitality industry and I have found a high end, fine shopping experience with The Bridal Project. I will never forget their compassion for me. What a great experience. I had been on Miracle Mile prior to coming to the Bridal Project and this store's quality is like no other. Its a cute, chic boutique located on the 2nd floor of the white and blue bldg. They have valet, huge plus. The second I walked in you feel at home.. The sales assistant is not pushy and gives you all the space and time needed. As for the dresses.. they are WOW..the details are crazy but yet so elegant. The experience was pleasant; everyone was nice, attentive and the showroom is lovely, simplistic and intimate. However, my rating is based on inventory and price points. Although they have a few really beautiful bohemian and/or vintage pieces, their inventory seemed pretty limited. I did not feel that the showroom inventory showcased most of the designers pictured on the Bridal Project website or on SM. In regards to price points, my initial budget is under $2k with a little bit of wiggle room. Unfortunately there are no dresses under $3k. Most of the inventory is between $4k and $8k. These are the numbers that I was given when asked what my budget was. I have to say that I was surprised since at the time of booking my appointment online, the form asks to choose your "desired" price range. Guess I misinterpreted the "desired" word within the sentence. Nice store but not nice to my pocketbook. read more
