My wife did all the arrangements for getting our 12 year old Toyota Prius all nice and shiny and get the interior to as close to "like new" as we could get. As such, we were willing to pay a decent sum for the job. She dealt with Doug exclusively, got scheduled, and communicated her expectations. She made him aware of how detailed she is, like super mega detailed, and as such she notices things others tend not to. He provided what seemed an appropriate estimate range (especially as compared to others we got quoted from), and we proceeded with them for business. Our car wasn't filthy per se, but it did have some stains we wanted out, and the old car smell, and our cat peed in the seat smell out. Our expectations were for those stains to be gone, and the car to smell nice, the rest is a plus. I'll start with the negatives: the stains on the seat were still there, and some on the door fabric. The positives: Doug and company were extremely professional and communicative. The cars exterior was superb, and it was clear the interior received a lot of work, there were some minor details missed, but overall it was a great job done. For the price I did expect the stains to be gone though, thus the 4 stars instead of 5. If your car doesn't have old stains it can be a 5 star service maybe. The price compared to a different place I took my other vehicle to seemed steep but this particular industry seems to be all over the place, another place quoted us $1000 (Ha!). So overall, if price isn't an issue to you this place is very professional and they did a pretty good job, if your expectation is a "like new" car it might not be possible. read more

Was on the fence about getting my car detailed before selling it. So glad I did. A couple hours after dropping my car off, Doug's team did an incredible job turning my McDonald's fries soaked interior into a shiny showroom ready masterpiece. I was blown away. Price was a little higher than what I remember being quoted on the phone, but they did an incredible job and got to work instantly even though they were definitely busy with several other cars that were probably ahead of me. I had to get to work and they accommodated me... went for lunch and 2-1/2 hours later, they were finishing up. I was particularly amazed by the job they did on my seats. Buckle up everyone, you can either read all of this or not. Bottom line up front: this place may have saved my brand new car from catastrophic interior damage. Story of the before photo: My mom turned on what she thought was the air compressor I keep in my car and it was actually the tire sealant. To make it worse when it started squirting she put it further IN THE CAR. The result is the mess you see pictured. Tire sealant... all over my new car I just bought in May!!! At first I was calm when I called Detail Depot and asked if they had any appointments or walk ins. But once Doug told me they were swamped I broke down and cried and asked if he could accommodate me because this really was an emergency. He called me back a few minutes later to tell me Stanley was available with their mobile van to come see what he can do. Story of the mobile detail: Stanley arrived within an hour of my call and got to work. He was extremely thorough and detail-oriented and went over some spots several times. He took his time and was very friendly and understanding of my slightly heightened emotional state. I feel much better now and the car is in great condition. I highly recommend Detail Depot as a whole but particularly the mobile detailing and doubly so if you're having an unpredictable emergency such as the one I experienced. read more

These guys are amazing. I got a quote on mold remediation from the dealer for $3,500 and these guys did it for less than $700 (and believe me, they were VERY, VERY THOROUGH and did an excellent job). They also kept me updated regularly on the status of the job (it was a long and very involved job -- they had to take out all the seats and the trunk, all the carpet, get everything handled -- they really did an amazing job). I couldn't be more pleased. Furthermore, they completely and fully detailed things that were in addition to what was being fixed, at no extra charge. Updating my review after having paid to have my car detailed here. It sucks when a business puts you in a position where you have a less than favorable experience. I figured I would just write about it here in hopes of Detail Depot using it to improve and to help people make a decision if they want to bring their hard earned money here to get their car detailed. As far as the exterior, I think they did good. There were specs of clay or soap left behind that were easily wiped off with a thumbnail and microfiber, along with a soapy residue on the front bottom right fender. Far from showroom shine, but I they did a fairly good job of cleaning off what was on the exterior. For the interior, I could not be more disappointed. This is what separated their price from another place I go to. The other place will not touch the interior. I should have taken it there because it honestly looks like Detail Depot did not touch the interior at all. I removed all items from the center console and trunk, neither were cleaned or vacuumed. There were a few spots on the interior fabric on the passenger side that were obvious, they did not clean them. I cleaned them myself at home using dishsoap and a microfiber, very easy to get off...The inside or outside of my front windshield is extremely streaky. A rookie move in my mind, I do not wash cars for a living but even I can get my windshield streak free. To me this shows that they rushed to get the job done. I would rather them take the time and do it right, then rush and have me fork over $220 for their top of the line detailing just to have done a poor job. You live and you learn though, barring them offering to make up for it I will be looking for a new place to get my vehicle detailed. read more

I needed to detail my car because I was at the end of my lease and was going to return my car. The car was in good condition but had a spot on the back sit where my daughter spilled some juice and left a stain. The owner was super nice - first inspected my car and gave me an honest quote and what needed to be done to fix the problem. I dropped the car on Saturday morning and they gave me a ride back home. Later on, before the car was completed, the owner called me and he let me know that he wanted to do some extra cleaning because the stain from the juice was better but was still showing. They told me exactly what extra actions was going to be done to achieve a high quality result and rather to just give me back the car with "hey - with did all we could" sort of attitude, the owner took time and care to make sure the job was completed and was well done. This was done with no extra charge or request. Such action show to me the extra care and service this establishment deliver to their clients. I expected a good job but what I received was far beyond expectations. Our 10 year old car looks practically brand new! I never thought it could look this good. We had used our little compact car for carting around debris after numerous yard cleanups. The grandchildren had spilled sodas and my husband and I had spilled many coffees. I tried to find a good boat detailing company and had very bad experiences trying to get other businesses to come to my location. However, when I called Detail Depot the owner answered and was willing to come out the next day to give an estimate for detailing my 23 foot boat. The price for the detailing was excellent and the detailer named Joe was superb. He staying in contact by phone letting me know what time he would arrive to start the work. He took his time and cleaned every part of the boat inside and out. He removed the mold that had grown on some of the fabric. He shined the seats so well that they look new.
