Many years ago I started going to Window Kote of Largo for all my cars window coating. I have had at least 5 cars coated here, all with flawless workmanship. Have never had to return due to poor installation. Fast forward 20 years later, my old "Grandpa Car" Grand Marquee needed a new driver door window coat. The original one had just worn out. This establishment states they have a lifetime warranty. So when they told me they can't honor that because I didn't have an original sales slip, it kind of peeved me off. Then I was told they don't keep records that old. I pointed out that they had attached a sticker to the inside door jam that states that they did the window coating, nope they won't honor that, they needed the original sales slip so it could be sent to the manufacturer for reimbursement. I get it that most people don't keep their cars for 20+ years. But those of us that do, here is a lesson learned.... Keep those sales receipts!!! BTW, they did give me a good discount on the new instillation. read more

Can you believe it? A warranty that really works! After 10 years, our car's window coatings still look amazing....except the rear window started to get distorted around the rear defroster grid. Robin stood by the product's warranty and replaced the coating without charge. Even though it was installed in New Port Richey. AMAZING??? We were floored. It wasn't hard to decide where to get my truck tinted. Many of my neighbors, co-workers and friends all said the same thing. Go to Window Kote of Largo. They didn't try to hard sell anything. They even recommended going a lighter in the back to give me better vision driving at night. They explained the difference between the types. I chose the LLumar Ceramic and I am glad I did. You notice how well it reflects the heat of the sun right away. My car easily is 25 to 30 degrees cooler inside after the tint. I also wasn't away that most factory tint is just aesthetic and doesn't block heat or UV rays. Overall they did a very clean job on the install. Setting up an appointment was easy and they even called me when they had a earlier appointment. We replace our cars every 2 or 3 years and I will no longer negotiate tint at the dealer. The owners are also at the shop everyday and stand behind everything they do. This is one of two Window Kotes in the area and the better choice of the two.
