if I could give 0 stars I would! I don't do reviews but this full detail was horrible! my middle console was still dirty and sticky. Mud was still on my door frame. they didn't clean inside my middle console. I had to wash my windows when I got home because they were so smeary! the outside car wash was terrible bits of bird poop still visible on my car. Anything that required elbow grease or any effort was not done. $175 down the drain! plus they had the car all day. DON'T GO HERE! It was a birthday gift from my bf and this place ruined the gift and experience! my car was not super dirty no pets were in there no kids. back seat hardly used. Just go somewhere else where they will actually do a good job. I feel taken advantage of by this experience. read more

I've had better jobs, and I've had worse. The back window and some of the side windows had a soap streak going down them. There was a little wax left on the back hatch. The floors we're super slippery with the cleaning agent that they used and a hazard for my 87-year-old mother when she rides in my car... still super slippery 3 months later. I visited the Detail Doctor on Thursday to have my 2008 Honda Civic cleaned up. They did a wonderful job! The inside was sparkling clean, even cleaner than it was when I took possession in 2008! They cleaned and shined all the nooks and crannies and I could not find a single place they missed!!! The outside was just plain beautiful! I've had my car detailed here on multiple occasions and the level of professionalism and attention to detail is excellent! For instance, I thought my car needed buffed but it only needed polished which saved me at least $40. I have been looking for a detailing place locally. I usually do it myself but time has become an issue. I saw one of their employees shirts at Sheetz and stopped by their shop. The lady who helped me was nice and I figured it was a local christian owned shop so I would give them a chance and scheduled a hand wash on my 2014 Silverado. The day I was scheduled, there was a 60% chance of rain so I just had the interior done as I had to use the truck for business that day. Keep in mind the truck was not trashed or filthy, it only has 6000 miles and I keep it very clean. It took them 15 minutes to do the "Interior wash". Now part of this is my fault as I didn't check the prices but I figured if a full wash is $38 then just to wipe down the inside should be like half that. The employee says that will be $35 dollars. I about fell over. Really? for 15 minutes of work???? I had to go and didn't have time to argue but as I drove and looked around the car it wasn't even a very good job. By no means better than I can do and for $35 bucks it should be spotless. Of course they have no email or anything to make contact but I can say for the shoddy work and overly high prices I am not sure how they have celebrated 11 years in business. I recommend to stay away PD - Their price structure also makes no sense. They have a Quad cab truck higher priced than a mini van and the mini van is actually bigger inside and has more surface area. read more

I normally don't bother writing reviews, but after this experience I felt compelled to. My normal detailer was booked for 3 weeks strait and couldn't get me in. I found this place online and I searched but couldn't find any reviews online about this place. Well after my experience with this place I will say this: If you care about getting quality detailing for your car, avoid this place at all cost. I would give it no stars if I could, They did a really poor job on my car. I paid them close to $200 for extra services and they still didn't do a decent job. My car is only a little over 1 year old and I only get it hand washed or wash it myself, and get it fully detailed twice a year to keep the swirl marks away. There were still plenty of swirl marks left in my paint AFTER they said they polished and waxed the car. They left wax that was unpolished/unbuffed at different spots all around the car too. It's like they did it just to say it was done, but really didn't care about the detail. They said they conditioned the interior but they only conditioned the leather on the dash and under the window, they didn't even touch my seats or door inserts and when I pointed this out they adamantly said they did but it was clear they didn't. I ended up reconditioning the interior myself when I got home and got the results I wanted. The grill still had dirt in between the vents. When I pointed out all these things with the dirt and the excess wax etc. The manager (Rick) tried to come out and start cleaning the grill and trying to wipe off the unbuffed wax. At that point it was pretty obvious that he thought they did a good job and just missed a few spots, he really didn't seem concerned to make it right other than taking a terry towel and trying to wipe off the dirt and wax. I so disappointed with that place, I didn't want them to touch my car anymore and just paid them the money so I could get my keys back and get out.The place even has a sign inside that says treat the customer right, or someone else will. I wish they lived by that. They never even apologized once and basically just said 'thank you, come again' after they took my money without a second thought. I ordered the full detail ($125), which included wash, polish, wax and interior conditioned. I paid an extra $40 for them to clay bar the car for which they said takes them 1 hour, and I paid and extra $15 dollars to clean up the engine bay. Around this area The price usually runs about $150 plus a generous tip for all that. The entire process took them only 3 hours from start to finish. If you know anything about proper detailing, this entire process usually takes much closer to an entire day and sometimes more, especially for the price I paid. Normally when I take my car to my detailer he takes at least a day if not more to complete all this work (and he's cheaper), so I was real skeptical when they (Steve) called me after 3 hours and said the work was done. Even when I took my car home, my neighbor noticed that it was a pretty bad job without me even mentioning it. He asked me if I did the wax job myself and if I was "dabbling" in detailing. Needless to say I was embarrassed when i told him it was supposedly professionally done. If you care about your car being detailed properly, my advise is find another place. There are plenty of people in the Youngstown area that do a better job for less money. read more

EXCELLENT! In and out on high end car met my meticulous standards. Staff was pleasant and the scheduling process was convenient. Pricing for professional detailing was well within range and better than dealerships that offer substandard work. Scheduled my wife's car as well and put them both on a weekly hand wash schedule and quarterly was and internal clean. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and best that I have experienced in the area read more

The guys at the detail doctor are great. I just got a new FR-S and wanted a good coat of wax on it to protect it. I called and they got me right in the next day. When I dropped it off they were really professional and said they would let me know when it was done. I dropped it off around 8:30. They called me around 1 to let me know it was done. Wow. I mean wow. The car was clean before but the difference on the inside was incredible. They used a special conditioner for the leather and it looks incredible. It was $137 plus tax for everything but it was money well spent. They even put a sticker on my windshield to let me know when the next time it would need another coat of wax! I am very satisfied with my purchase and will absolutely be coming back again. read more
