We had 4 areas done by them; bedroom closet, pantry/storage room, entryway closet, and spare bedroom closet (no photo). We love all of the spaces and wouldn't change anything. We initially had three quotes from two other companies (including California closets), and the designs by Jen were better than the others by far. We initially had glass sliding doors covering up our closet and Jen convinced us to remove them and raise the closet hight by another foot or so. I did the job myself to save some money, and it was not too difficult luckily. It however was a fantastic idea as we were able to change the entire design of the closet to be more functional, and symmetrical. The entry way closet Jen also had the best design for and its much better then how it was done originally. The pantry/storage room we added on at the end as we were not even thinking of having it done, but Jen had very functional ideas which make a huge difference for our day to dad. You would think that a company as big as Cleany would honour its business practice promises but they do not. I had to follow up and urge them to go back and correct it, only to be met with the response that they would "do better next time." No accountability, just a passive promise to improve. This shows a serious lack of understanding of how impactful presentation and cleanliness are to guest ratings. Then it got worse. The guest called me asking for pillowcases. That's right--they made the bed without pillowcases, which their own post-cleaning photos confirmed. The situation spiraled from there. When I contacted their team for answers, I was met with rude and combative responses from a staff member named Hope, who seemed more interested in defending the team than resolving the issue. Thankfully, I happened to be nearby and was able to personally deliver pillowcases from the locked cabinet. Imagine if I hadn't been available? After the guest checked out, I went in to inspect the unit myself. The mop I provided was untouched--still brand new--and there was visible dust on table surfaces. At this point, I seriously began to question whether they had even cleaned at all. I was originally told that I needed to provide cleaning supplies, yet suddenly I was told they bring their own. So which is it? The inconsistency and lack of transparency are staggering. When I raised these issues, I was met with a so-called "investigation" that resulted in nothing but praise for the cleaner, who they said was their "most experienced" and had no complaints from other clients. That's great--but this was my experience, supported by photo evidence and text messages. This isn't hearsay--it's documented. If you're using Cleany, do an audit. And if you're searching for a reliable cleaner for your short-term rental, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. Cleany lacks the knowledge, professionalism, and honesty that's required in this space. If you're not watching closely, they'll cut corners--and your guest reviews will suffer for it. We spoke with Ronal about our reno and he was able to accommodate our request. We felt that Ronal was very honest and up front about our kitchen modification. He wanted to point out all the potential complications that could happen with the reno (colour matching, floor modification, toe kick modification) We also wanted to save one piece of the old cabinet to be used on the new installation.
