Mr Jon Swarbrigg was recommended to me as a practitioner with a very good reputation and equally good results. Mr Swarbrigg was extremely helpful and understanding of my concerns.? After my first consultation he explained what could be done and the results I could expect. He also provided me with before and after photographs of other patients who had previously been to him for treatments. He gave me the confidence to put my trust and teeth in his care.I saw Jon several times, firstly to take photographs and to prepare my teeth for the fitting of veneers. The results with the temporary veneers were astonishing. He was always very professional and made me feel at ease during the work.? When my permanent veneers were fitted I was thrilled with the results!? His attention to detail and commitment to gaining an aesthetically pleasing result is fantastic.? Also, general NHS advice is Hygienist work should be carried out every 6 months, why did he book me in for two courses over a two month time scale? profiteering? Twenty minutes before the second appointment (whilst I was in the car on my way) I got a call to say that the dentist I was due to see wasn't taking on new NHS patients, and neither are any of the other dentists, so they're not able to see me now. No new patients were invited! The online booking link which you used (or had forwarded to you) also made clear it was for existing patients only. When it became clear you were not a pre-existing patient and booked your self an appointment incorrectly your appointment was cancelled. We are attempting to rebuild our general nhs list in an equitable manner prioritising pre-existing patients by age group. We are unable to make exceptions and sorry for any inconvenience caused. -------------- UPDATE: Just to respond to your reply. You're making it out like it's my fault. See attached the email to me. Nowhere does it state it's for existing patients only. YOU haven't made this clear. Its not me misunderstanding. You sent me the email and text me! It wasn't forwarded to me by anyone else. I once went to a dentist that was in a basement and I was truly terrified so the bright and clean dentists on street lane put me right at ease. The waiting area is comfortable, stylish and really tidy; there is also a bathroom that is so luxurious it should be in a beauty spa. I only had a routine check up and thankfully no nasty work was needed. The dentist was really sweet and suggested I start using sensitive toothpaste as gave me some samples to try. I have found practically all other dentist's scary; this one however is warm and friendly.

I managed to get a same day emergency appointment here, with David Blaine (ok, David Blaen, but it's pronounced the same, which is awesome for he is indeed magical), for £56, and after discussing my options I decided to have the tooth out. For which there was no extra charge! All very quick and more importantly, pain and stress-free. I can't recommend Dr Blaen enough. He is a dude. He is private though, not NHS, but he's worth it. He also has a mega beard.
