The dental nurses are really nice the reception staff are helpful and the dentist himself has been great at explaining about the work i've needed doing. Had no problem getting appointments and not had to wait long to be seen after arriving. The do NHS and private patients and all seem very professional and the place looks spotless too. Looks like they are still taking on NHS patients too so hurry and register if you need a dentist.

Very happy with my treatment so far, really impressive results and having seen some of the cases they've worked on they are nothing short of miracle workers! They also take time to inform and educate - it's clearly not just about making a quick buck, they seem keen to ensure you look after your teeth and don't have to come back for fillings etc!

I consequently left the practice feeling like I had just been done over by a second hand car salesman. Why did he not inform me (after viewing the X-ray originally) that the wisdom tooth required root canal work or extracting? Also, general NHS advice is Hygienist work should be carried out every 6 months, why did he book me in for two courses over a two month time scale? profiteering? I am disgusted at the way I was advised and treated and left the practice with a numb mouth and feeling I'd been mugged. AMAZING: I have just found out Sharfuddin Patel and his CV is wrong! He is not fully employed at CITY DENTAL but, called in for new patients and works at the LINGWELL practice near MOORTOWN. Is anything right about this practice? False CV's?

Having such good banter with the staff with great professional care under pinning every appointment is a breath of fresh air. After 8 years of seeing the team here I recommend it to all my friends and family, most of whom now go there.

I have been back to Church View, this time for the treatment…read more To reiterate my earlier review, dentists are at a disadvantage on Yelp when set against beautiful bookshops, banging bars and cool cafes but I have to say that, on a level playing field, Church View has now left many (supposed) palaces of pleasure way behind. It hasn't yet knocked a night out with a good friend and a pint of local ale off the top tier but it leaves a visit to places like Starbucks wallowing in the mud they call coffee (whoops, I'm getting sidetracked). The Appetizer: I was greeted by pleasant, efficient reception staff (having already received a reminder sms the day before) The Entrée: After a short wait (well I was early) I was called in to see the hygienist (Carrie) who made sure I was ready, willing and able with regard to mouth and teeth maintainance and got me off to a flying start with a good clean and polish. The main course: I really wasn't looking forward to this! I am a coward, I'm not afraid to cry and fat and old though may be I reckon I could out run the average dentist when they say 'extraction' Well here's a surprise, I stayed put AND it wasn't bad at all, in fact I soon upgraded my order from one extraction to two. Katie, the dentist chatted to me, explained everything that was happening and frequently checked I was OK. I felt totally calm (this from the guy who ran away from a dentists and tried to hide behind a street light) and throughout the whole procedure I had 100% confidence in Katie as she spent almost an hour wrestling to evict a couple of unwelcome residents from my mouth). I can honestly say that this was the least pain I've ever experienced from a dentist (I've had check-ups more painful). The dessert: (obviously not sugary or tooth rotting ones). It was lovely to get a call from the surgery a couple of days later to check that everything was OK and that I wasn't in pain or discomfort. I make this final statement fully aware that I may receive strange looks etc but I honestly can't wait for my next appointment

I saw the head man a couple of times but he wasn't really interested. He told me on one occasion that he could do nothing with my tooth, I would have to just let it crumble. I went to another dentist who fixed it up no problem. That being said, I didn't actually leave the practice but found out that they no longer had NHS patients and I had been taken off their book when I rang for an appointment!

I thought I was a patient and rang today for an emergency appointment only to be told that as I had…read morenot had an appointment for three years (couldn't afford one even as nhs and stupidly didn't prioritise my health), they had delisted me. I did not receive any notification by email, letter or phone. The receptionist said I could not be re-registered as an nhs patient but they could accept me as a private patient. I have always prioritised my 12 year olds dental appointments and she is still a patient with them but only until I find a much better one. My daughter recently needed an emergency appointment and when I called was told they were only treating private patients on that day...they didn't even ask what her issue might have been - no element of triage whatsoever! When I got her out of hours treatment and was provided with antibiotics for her we were told she was in a pre-sepsis state and it was so lucky we got treatment when we did especially with it being Easter weekend. The practice is very old and decrepid in places and one can only hope that with their incessant desire for private patients over NHS ones that they use some money for an update. Pretty dull and uninspiring practice who care more about money than patients and this is evident.

This is a highly efficient dental surgery in Leeds. It isn't that easy to register (but worth a…read moretry) as their work is so highly regarded their lists tend to be full. A visit here is not the dread-filled unpleasant dentist trip of old. The dentists are really friendly, nice music plays and the whole feel is very relaxed. They make me feel confident about looking after my teeth and also somehow manage to keep my 3 children amused whenever they have to go too. waiting times are normally short and I have been seen at very short notice with an urgent problem too.
