It was frustrating because I took a day off from work in order to make it to my ZocDoc appointment. I ended up scheduling an appointment with a different doctor who luckily had an availability that day. My suggestion to the facility is to have one system of record for appointments. If it's ZocDoc, stick with ZocDoc. Otherwise, don't even make your doctors available for booking at ZocDoc. Someday, someone will show up at their ZocDoc appointment date/time and find out that they do not have an appointment. Another downside to this place is they do not have appointments outside of work hours and weekends. I came a few minutes ahead of my scheduled appointment time, checked in, and waited 45 minutes total in the waiting room. I heard another lady in the waiting room complain that she has been waiting for 45 minutes as well. Possibly leaving some buffer time in between adjacent appointments will alleviate the long wait times. The saving grace for this place are the front desk staff, nurses and doctor are sweet and nice. Another perk is they have wide selection of free coffees, teas and water for you to enjoy while you wait. Otherwise, this place has much room for improvement.

I had a bad year in 2018. Like two surgeries and an ER/hospital stay bad. Ended up with low…read morehemoglobin /ferritin levels to a point where the ER staff wasn't letting me go to the bathroom without using a wheelchair. Anyway, that's how I ended up at HHO and under the care of Dr. Patel. I was referred here by my (former) gynecologist(who was the reason I ended up so sick in the first place). I was skeptical after all that had happened and I didn't trust my gyno at all but geez... I'm so glad I was able to get treated at HHO. Yes, you only really see your primary doctor a few times for initial consult and check ins, but I expect that from any medical office. Dr. Patel is the nicest doctor I've ever had in my life. I wish he was a primary care physician because he is honestly the only doctor I've actually felt comfortable around and one of the only ones that I feel takes patients seriously. For example : today I went in for the first time since losing my job in November and two things occurred : 1. When Dr. Patel found out the was the reason I hadn't been in, he told me to always let him know those things because he wants to make sure that his patients get the care they need regardless. There was not a moment during that exchange where I questioned his sincerity. 2. After finding out my initial results came back okay, he asked a few follow up questions since I mentioned I was having the fatigue and brain fog issues I normally have with anemia. Because of some travel I'd done recently and being from the land of deer ticks (PA), he suggested getting tested for Lyme. This is HUGE. People... Doctors never take lyme disease seriously. If a doctor is suggesting to get tested and you don't have to convince them... You struck gold. He knows his stuff. I also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the nurses here. I was getting weekly iron IV treatments for a few months and I got to know the nursing staff well. I love all of them-- every last one of them. I still need to bake them a cake for being amazing. When I lost my job, they were so sweet, helpful, and kind. And not to mention... I don't get my weight checked when I go because of my history with an eating disorder. One time someone had me do it and then announced my weight loudly, it shook me to the core and one of the nurses noticed and took care of the situation.. Next time I came in she was switching shifts but stopped to check in to make sure that my request for no weigh ins was respected and gosh... Just being remembered and cared about goes such a long way :) I know some of this review is long and rambling but I really love this office and the staff and it's hard to write about them without getting emotional. I highly, highly recommend them if you are looking for a hemotologist /oncologist.

Middlesex Office:…read more Why are you letting patients wait in waiting room for 45- 50 minutes without even acknowledging them? Not even who are you? Why are you taking patients that arrived after "ME" before me? What are the companies standards or lack of training, for 3 office personnel, 1 receptionist, 1 PA (supposedly) and one girl that was preoccupied getting patients name right and promising to get it right the next time. All ignoring a patient "ME" for almost an hour sitting the waiting room.... Why did I get bombarded with texts asking if I am coming and to check in. What is value if I get ignored once in office. I had a appointment with Dr. Sweety today and sat in a cold waiting room for 50 minutes while patients that came in after me were called to the back. I was on time for appointment, 2 patients checked in before me. I thought I was the 3rd patient. No one else in waiting room. We were all interrupted by phone call with supposedly an allegorist (false alarm...) about the 4 year old a little overweight needing to come into office for shot training. I had to go in back patient holding area to find someone to help me and the 3 office personnel determined I was already seen and was told to that I was next and sit in waiting room they closed the door behind me. Tired from wait and cold, just miserable knowing I wouldn't get the care I came there for. I told the 3 personnel huddled in the patient holding area that I was leaving.... They asked if I wanted to reschedule???? Really.... Is it that the company are hiring the wrong people or are they are not investing in training them to represent the company.... Let them ask employee(s) to come on their own time and wait almost an hour to get trained.

Avoid NJIN at all costs. They lie about pricing and scam patients…read more Before my appointment, I was explicitly told my out-of-pocket cost "patient responsibility" would be $0. Based on that representation, I proceeded with the MRI. Afterward, I received a bill for $500+. When I followed up, I learned that they never actually contacted my insurance company to verify coverage, despite telling me they had. I called four separate times to try to resolve this. Each time, I was told that someone would call me back to review the error. No one ever did. The lack of follow-through and accountability was extremely frustrating. Especially since had they have been upfront about pricing, I would've chosen a different imaging provider. Adding insult to injury, I was also informed that they were sending my claim to collections, even though I was waiting on them to respond to my requests to adjust the bill based on their staff providing incorrect information. Adding to my concern, the MRI itself took about 10 minutes, which felt unusually fast. Given the billing issues and failure to verify insurance, this raises questions about the thoroughness and reliability of the NJ imaging network. Transparent pricing, accurate insurance verification, and basic follow-up are not optional in healthcare. This experience showed a serious lack of professionalism. I strongly recommend avoiding the NJ Imaging Network.
