Here are the reasons why: - Staff greet you and get you set up. Don't forget Insurance card and ID. - Registration area- Every staff member makes sure you are there for the right test and will call your doctor if there are any issues. They also keep you posted with any changes. -The technicians and staff that does the testing will check again and make sure you are okay before and after the test is done. Yes, trying to get an appointment on the phone is rough and difficult. Do not give up. When calling to schedule appointment we had two tests to be done and could only get appointments with two separate locations. When we got to the appointment and told them what happened, They helped us out and we got both test done here. There is a parking lot with an attendant on premise. Just remember. Tests like PET Scans are done at other another location and not on this site.

I was very impressed that they had free Valet Parking there, like what! That's amazing because it's pretty difficult to find parking in the area so I loved that they offer this! Not to mention the valet attendant was so kind and assured me that if anything happens to any of the cars, the valet company would be held responsible. I walked in eager to check in. Unfortunately I didn't have the images I needed as I was there for a follow up visit and forgot to get my medical records from my previous provider. I didn't want to have to reschedule my appointment but the lady who checked me in was kind enough to accommodate me even if I waited a little longer but they were able to call my doctor and request what was needed. My mammogram/sonogram techs were both amazing and so knowledgeable. They explained the entire process, made sure I was comfortable and answered any and all doubts I had. I was so happy to be seen and that everything went smoothly. Thank you to the entire staff for kindness and support.

Throughout the visit, this nurse (Nurse Maya) made multiple unnecessary comments were made regarding my body size and appearance that came across as passive-aggressive, unprofessional, and disrespectful. The overall communication style made the experience uncomfortable and did not feel patient-centered. Very repulsive attitude and behavior Patients should be treated with professionalism and respect, especially in healthcare settings where people may already feel vulnerable or anxious. I will not be coming back to this location. I've had great experiences with NYU Langone facilities, but this location is just not it.

A few days before my appointment they called to confirm my appointment. Upon arrival at 9:20am for my 9:30 appointment I filled out the usual paperwork and was called within 10 minutes. The Front Desk staff and Shawn the MRI technician were super nice and made me feel very comfortable. The whole procedure lasted about 20 minutes. I highly recommend this place if you need an MRI.

Usually, centers will use both health plan and Medicare but ZPR will charge the most amount, apply the plans and still have patients pay the excessive amount not covered. Call your health plan first and opt for another radiology center, perhaps one TRULY in network. Do not rely on ZPR to answer, they say they are in network but charge the most. Other radiology centers that we have since used have not charged so excessively.

When my boyfriend and I went there earlier for x-ray early morning as first people to arrive when they do, they quickly was able to check him in, nicely allow me to wait close by and showed me where I can sit, and finished his X-ray in less than a few minutes. Their rate of providing printed CD was faster than all other radiology locations. They print it right away on the spot instead of hours later. They also mention the issue because they know it's important to follow up right away, whereas other clinics ask you to wait for the report to be done in whatever time from they conclude. Furthermore, even though they say report takes 2 days, the doctor actually already received the completed report in less than an hour. I recommend going early at opening hours for less longer line.

I asked them not send me to Zwanger Pesiri for Radiology tests because they wouldn't even give me medical records for 2 years. But I can't believe the robotic answers. "Sorry this is our only partner and we don't do open referrals." Then when I go to Zwanger in person with a script that is marketed for Zwanger to limit patients from going to other companies the staff tells me, "I CAN GO ANYWHERE with a Zwanger Script." Next Step 3: Get an appointment and hope the insurance, referring doctor's office and Radiology office work together to achieve AUTHORIZATION. SO WHY AM I STUCK HERE WITH AN APPOINTMENT BUT NO AUTHORIZATION. SEVERE PAIN, YET I CAN'T RETURN TO WORK. Fran said "We don't handle authorizations." However upon entering these doors is another story. I waited 1 hr in the main room. I was told to come in early. I came in 12:45 for 1pm appointment. To what I would like to call their dungeon. Lower level offers multiple rooms with a small claustrophobic size waiting room. Where all the chairs had broken pleather seats. I was asked to wait in the waiting room and 2 patients were brought down to same waiting room as me. I waited another 30 minutes. From where I sat I saw two technicians in a room discussing a case but with no patient in the room. They discussed away for 45 minutes before they came out and they asked for one of the patients that came after me to go into the room with them. I quickly asked how much longer would it be. Down the hall there was a dr/technician in a room that I never saw anyone walk into. He had the door open and had a very bad cool. He kept hacking up a lung every few seconds, then blowing his nose and coughing uncontrollably. I was starting to get very worried this guy was going to do my consultation. Let alone the fact that he is coughing and going to infect the rest of the people on this floor!!!!!! I was really few seconds short of high tailing out of there. Very grossed out. If you are sick stay home and don't come in to share your germs with the rest of your patients. Receptionist came down to the dungeon to tell me after 1 hr that they are going to see me shortly. I used the restroom on my way out and was chased as I was leaving by the frantic technician that did my exam. They didn't check the date of my last menstruation until AFTER they did my mammogram. She wanted me to sign a paper stating I am not pregnant. I'm not, and I signed the paper, but that was a huge mistake on their part. If I had been pregnant and they did not check the date they could have exposed a fetus to radiation. It was careless, but thankfully no one was harmed. They need to be more careful with their protocols moving forward.
