Chatted with Brandon over the phone & he headed over to help out. It took some coaxing, but he was able to safely the the squirrel out (turned out to be a nursing mama) & we released her immediately back out into my yard so she could get back to her babies. He also fixed up/sealed the top of my chimney properly so I won't have squirrels or birds accidentally making their way down again. Brandon is so nice, obviously loves animals, is very patient, & took care of the situation exactly the way I wanted it handled (humanely & kindly).
