I was looking to have hardwood floors (previously purchased at a flooring warehouse) installed in my home along with a few heavy lifting projects around my house (door replacements, light fixtures, drywall repair). I had been getting estimates for weeks and received a variety of answers from "we can't use this material, you have to buy from us or we can't install" to "your drywall just needs a good scrape and paint, it should be fine" (which was not true since it had giant bits of TAR on it from a mirror and some pretty extensive dings in the drywall underneath). In comes Home-Aid Home Repair to the rescue. Mike came over within 2 days of me emailing him and gave me a written estimate the next day - which was also a holiday. Color me impressed! Price-wise, he was less than some of the other estimates I'd received and he also took the time to explain to me why certain things were possible with my materials and exactly what he was going to need to purchase to complete the project. I knew that I wanted to work with someone I trusted and who would "keep it real" with me throughout the process and he was all that and more. I confirmed him to work on my place right away. He and his crew showed up the following Monday on time (they even called in advance to say they were on their way) and they worked for 3 days to give my place a total facelift. They were up front about my displacement (they had to re-pour concrete which meant my dog and I had to find alternative housing, which was no big deal since they told me in advance) and also walked me through the whole process of what they were planning to do and how, along with the materials they were planning on using. I visited the site every day (not because I was checking in, but because I ran out of clothes/forgot things at my house) and they were working away every time! They were always exceedingly cordial and always called me "Miss" when I would arrive at my house. In the end, it ended up taking them 3 days to complete the job when he initially predicted it would take 4. The floors looked beautiful and he and his crew put everything back where it belonged as well as cleaned up after the construction mess. He also provided copies of the receipts for everything he purchased (no upcharging on materials!) By the end of the third day and they'd left, I just sat in my condo in total awe of the work that they'd done and how amazing my place looked. All-in-all, Mike and his crew are the diamond standard of home renovations and once my list of things to work on builds up a bit more, I have no hesitation in hiring him again for all of my home repair needs.

The workman was prompt and very pleasant. He worked diligently all day and when he was done he cleaned up and left the place looking better than when he got there. All of the people were very professional and we were very happy with the quality of their work. We had a few odd requests given the amount of work our home needs and our budget. We had American Pro and another contractor out to give us a quote. American Pro had a reasonable quote and gave us many options of how we could get projects started within our budget. We are very happy we chose to work with them and will be calling again when it's time for another project! Thank you! I've attached photos from Christian fixing the rot around our back door. RUN, don't walk away. Hired them to replace some bad flooring in our RV. Flooring was replaced,…read moreHOWEVER the collateral damage was horrendous. Deck screws were ran through the door trim, so much so that one pierced the outer skin of the RV. The rest? well, they are sticking out about 1/4" to 1/3". Who uses decking screws to attach trim?????? Decking screws were also used to attach a piece of wood behind the dining table, it split the wood. Dining table is very unstable and will not make it out of the drive way before bending over. Same for the electrical outlet under the bench table. Just barely hanging. Storage drawer in the bathroom is missing braces. That drawer wouldn't make 2 miles before the support braces broke. The floor was replaced. The rest?? BEWARE!! I think I could have gotten 10th graders from the local high school to do a better job and it sure wouldn't have cost $3,700.00. We will have to spend $800 - $1000 fixing all the things they left undone, not to mention the loss of use of the RV.
