Sam hit the little extra spots I requested as part of the $65 price. If you normally go to regular fast car washes...BY COMPARISSON, what Sam does can feel a little like a mini detail. I recommend removing everything from your car at home so they can find the dirt. My floors were in great need of vacuuming and my floor mats were filthy. My floors and mats now look like new. I feel like I drove a new car off Sam's property. He deserves all his 5 star reviews! My windows sparkle. There are just details that get included here that are missing other places. If a simple hand wash is THIS GOOD I cannot imagine how spectacular their attention to detail would be for a full detail. If you are a newbie to higher end car care, give Sams HAND WASH a try before you decide if you really need a full detail. I think you'll be happy here. I feel like I might start doing this hand wash maybe every 2-3 months and just run it through the WAVE touchless in between. I'm not a fanatic when it comes to my car. I just prefer it clean. We usually take care of this chore ourselves, but quite frankly, I wasn't feeling it. So I searched for a quote via Yelp. John has gotten so many incredible reviews and seemed like a small, locally owned business- my favorite to support! His quote came back fairly quick. He was excited to earn my business and overall, I just liked his vibe. The cost for my husband's Subaru Impreza detail was $300. From all the quotes I got, that seemed like it was right in the middle. We picked a date and agreed on the price. Fast forward to the day arriving! John was very communicative and had asked if he could get started early. I had prepped the car by taking everything out, and had it moved to the shade to give John some protection from the sun. He got immediately to work after reconfirming price and amount of time for the service. I checked on him once and he was pretty self sufficient. He brings his own water for the cleaning, cleaning products, and even a modest workbench for his products and tools. I've got to say, the man has an impressive setup! He has an automatic text service that lets you know when he has finished the car. I checked it out with him and was blown away by the attention to detail. The car was immaculately spotless; inside and out. I was deeply impressed by John's work, his work ethic, and his kindness. Should I be feeling lazy again, he'd be the guy I would call! Finally, I do view this as a service. I did tip him on top of his $300 price. I hadn't seen that in other reviews and would like to say, he really earns that ,should you choose to do that. When you think of interior detailing, you think of them cleaning EVERYTHING inside the car, under the seats, the center console, the cup holders and more. For me, none of that was cleaned. After I picked it up I noticed many places that were not cleaned and felt like I had kinda been ripped off. I will include the areas missed. They stated they don't do under the seats unless you sign something that if they mess up the seats they cannot be charged/sued for it. Fair enough, just don't advertise as a full interior cleaning. When I asked why the center console wasn't touched or cleaned at all, they stated they had issues with drugs and such in them and did not clean them. Fine by me but that's not an interior deep clean like advertised so I was disappointed. Everyone was pretty nice until I came back and asked them to fix it up. The owner didn't say a word to me unless I said something which I found rude. Terrible job for an interior cleaning in my opinion. Should have done it myself. They cleaned the car with WINDOW CLEANER when I watched them. A huge waste of money.
