I had an emergency detailing performed for my car after a workplace accident involving a maintenance worker improperly servicing a large air compressor that cycled on and sprayed out like a geyser and covered my parked car with transmission fluid from top to bottom, bumper to bumper. It got into the window seals, the engine bay, the doors, and dripped down into my brand new aftermarket wheels I had installed just weeks before! I washed the car immediately with high grade detergents to do my best to neutralize the corrosive oil, but there were still large oil spots embedded in the clearcoat that I couldn't get out. The Detailing Pros were able to fast-track my car in and got the oil out of the clearcoat and polished it up, the engine bay degreased and detailed, and went the extra mile to absorb the excess oil inside window seals, which were leaving marks on the windows every time they were rolled down. They also removed all 4 of the wheels to thoroughly clean out the wheel drums and ceramic coated each wheel before installing them back on the car. I got updates across the day with pictures to see the progress. It put me at ease to be helped when I needed it, urgently. These guys did things a little differently; but I trusted their process and it was worth it. Our First meeting was so my car could get looked at and we could have clear means of communication on what I wanted and what they could do for me and for how much.. and with my car not having been deep clean touched in almost 2 years, it was badly needed. It took some serious time and a lot of product from what I was told but... she came out with EXACTLY what I wanted. Brandon gave me a quote on the phone for $200 to wrap my pillars on my Tesla. I then literally took my car in and showed him exactly what I wanted. He said ok, I can try to get you in Weds but best is Monday. 7 hours later he calls me back and said he made mistake and had to got out of town next week. and oh by the way, the job is now $400 to $450 because i misunderstood. how can you misunderstand when the customer shows exactly what he's looking for. His argument is that he did not sign a contract. yet, I canceled other appointments base on his word. WOW. In the owners comments is mentioned he help me remove old vinyl. I did not ask him to remove nor did I ask for help. He just grab it and start remove it with him. I explained I left it on to give an explain of what I wanted. He clearly saw what I wanted. He call was to change the time. At the end he said by the way... this is an accurate review. I have no problem paying value of what something is worth. But this is just poor business. I have been looking for a good mobile car wash service and Pro Shine was the 3rd one I tried in Reno. I have to say Brandon and team first arrived on time, performed an excellent cleaning/wash service inside and out and made numerous recommendations for future care to consider. Never pushy or salesy, just plain factual. This service was much better than the other two I tired at a reasonable cost for a mobile service. They have everything contained on their truck and no need for water etc. I plan on having Pro Shine back in a few weeks to do some more detailed work on my SUV.
