My mobile detailer sold his business to someone who is not responding so I went in search of a replacement. I thought Sam's Sparkle was mobile and I booked because Sam was excellent at replying to my texts. I discovered he is not mobile because he never asked for my address. LOL... But I decided to give him a try. I booked a hand wash. Took about an hour. This is not a detail or even a mini detail but it's a GREAT HAND WASH that truly made my car SPARKLE. Sam hit the little extra spots I requested as part of the $65 price. If you normally go to regular fast car washes...BY COMPARISSON, what Sam does can feel a little like a mini detail. I recommend removing everything from your car at home so they can find the dirt. My floors were in great need of vacuuming and my floor mats were filthy. My floors and mats now look like new. I feel like I drove a new car off Sam's property. He deserves all his 5 star reviews! My windows sparkle. There are just details that get included here that are missing other places. If a simple hand wash is THIS GOOD I cannot imagine how spectacular their attention to detail would be for a full detail. If you are a newbie to higher end car care, give Sams HAND WASH a try before you decide if you really need a full detail. I think you'll be happy here. I feel like I might start doing this hand wash maybe every 2-3 months and just run it through the WAVE touchless in between. I'm not a fanatic when it comes to my car. I just prefer it clean. I park in a garage so I rarely need a wax. I do miss my mobile guy...but Sams is very reasonable AND there's a great little Mexican restaurant only a short walk away, called CARLILLOS Cocina. Delicious. Don't expect a sparkling waiting area at Sam's...LOL...all the attention to SPARKLING DETAIL happens in the back where your car is being transformed. I want to share this review because it's such a great shop but I don't want everyone to find out and take all the appointment times. Moving forward I will be treating me vehicles to a minimum annual full detail. I originally scheduled due to needing an engine cleaning to diagnose a leak. While there I spring for a full detail. Fast forward a few months I wound up trading in the car. I only had a few magical months in my pristine car. It felt better than brand new when they were done with the interior and exterior. The engine clean proved invaluable as it allowed my mechanic to diagnose an oil leak and 3 transmissions leaks (hence trading it in). They were kind, communicative and do top notch work. Their prices are reasonable for the level of service and quality. It's in an area without much around it so a drop off is advised instead of hanging out. Their waiting area is also quite small. I noticed the color and shine from my 2022 rav 4 dulled when I was in NM for 6 months. Once again, we revisit Super Sam's Sparkle Shop. This year the 2012 Audi was due for the number 6 detail, which is interior, exterior, engine, and power buffing on the paint. The number 6 is the ultimate detail, which keeps the paint in pristine condition, with the harsh sun, snow, wind, and trash blowing around Northern Nevada this is a once a year maintenance you don't want to miss. Called up Sam and made the appointment over the phone. Dropped the car off to Sam around 730am on Monday. Talked to Sam around 330pm on the phone and he advised the Audi was just being finished. I appreciate Sam's attention to detail when he performs his magic at the Sparkle Shop. Detail Shops that have to rush or are on the clock to finish and start multiple jobs miss important steps, this is why Sam's is a Five star joint. In my opinion this is the Best Detailing Shop in the AREA! I arrived at the Sparkle Shop just after 520pm and when I saw the Audi I could immediately tell the white paint appeared deeper, brighter, and freshly polished. The Audi looked like a glowing bright white ice sickle is had so much gloss on the glacier white metallic paint. My boo and I drive older cars folks, her car 8 years old, and mine 11. I recently had the exterior of my 4Runner detailed and the engine compartment cleaned by the team at Sam's Sparkle Shop. I can detail my other personal cars, but there is simple too much real estate on this rig for the available amount of elbow grease. I found Sam's via an internet search and wish I found this shop sooner. I appreciate doing business locally, and it is both refreshing and reassuring to know that Sam's has been doing business at this location for more than 30 years. Clearly, he knows is craft and the customers keep returning, of which I will be one. The work by Sam's team is excellent, and I appreciate that the effort to clean the engine compartment goes far beyond simply spraying "alot of shiney goo" on the various plastic components. Likewise, the exposed undercarriage and tires were cleaned and dressed, and without an excessive amount of "shiney goo" applied everywhere. Additionally, the exterior detail removed water spots that I was convinced were permanently etched in the glass. And best of all, the cost for this level of perfection is substantially lower than other shops that I have used in the past. In my situation, nearly $100 less (Sam, where's the tip jar?). The last time it was detailed was nearly 4 years ago, and since then I'd sold nearly everything I owned, packed what was left into the car, and traveled to Death Valley, then down to Mexico where I practically lived out of it for 5 months, all the way down to Mexico City then back up through Texas and... well you get the picture. WOW. I went here today to get the interior of my detailed and I'm so impressed!!! Sam, was so friendly and kind the second I walked in. My mom had given me a gift certificate to get my car cleaned there last Christmas and it was well spent. They did an AMAZING job cleaning the inside of my car. My cloth seats are a weird cloth material to where if I spill a little water on the seat, it stains. They were able to get out every stain on my seat that I've been trying to get rid of for years!
