I took a recently purchased ATV that was having a fuel/starting issue in. A couple months and over $300 later I have an ATV that has idled poorly since it left. I did get a new spark plug and a new choke cable for that money, and I admit it starts. It stays running if I constantly thumb the throttle, but then again it randomly revs up and takes off while I am doing so. So, in short, over $300 to get it to start and be unreliable. I will clarify, the idling issue has been since they day I picked it up from them, it is just much worse now that the temps have dropped to where I can't really use it. I would have complained initially, but it took so long and so much for a spark plug and choke cable that I really didn't want to open a bigger can of worms. Find someone out here that has free time, a garage and is in need/want of beer money. I know I will be. read more
