Now the last couple of weeks they don't even have the nerve to call me back. I have messaged the General manager Wayne and also left voice mails to call me and I get no response. I have sent pictures with my check engine light on and also a code that was ran that states that it is the catalytic converter which also was the same code that showed up with my last visit to them that they told me was my air intake was froze up. Now tell me what the cold weather had to do with this when then all started back in June. They supposedly replaced my catalytic converter which I have to say BS or they installed a faulty one and they refuse to make it right. And the sad thing is that a couple of the employees there had lunch with a guy who happens to be related to me and they told him that it was indeed the catalytic converter but they refuse to even talk to me. I have had this car brand new from them. They have very poor customer service as the last time that I was in they didn't even say hi to me or talk to me until I started to ask questions. I would think that they would make this right with my car but instead they just ignore me now. I am a single mother with 4 kids and they don't care if I get stranded which luckily so far the times that I have I have been by myself. I AM BEYOND FRUSTRATED AT THIS POINT!!

The service department has lied to me multiple times about my vehicles needing service that they…read moreactually did not need. I replaced multiple parts that they said needed to be replaced only to find out the parts were still in good condition and did not need replacing anytime soon. I have receipts saying that the following parts needed to be replaced and I also have the old parts(still in good condition) as well. They had told my girlfriend that the upper ball joints and control arms needed to be replaced, which they didn't(bushings and ball joints still had thousands of miles left on them). They also told my girlfriend that they would replace the passenger side steering rack clamp if she spent the $1700 to replace all ball joints and bushings, and when I took it off I noticed the steering rack clamp was still in brand new condition also. When I questioned them about it they just told me I was wrong. Then they proceeded to tell me that I needed to replace the rear wiper blade(which I had replaced two days prior), the spark plugs (which I had replaced recently), the spark plug wires(which I had also replaced recently). They also advised me that all fluids needed to be changed(which I had done a few days prior), and that the air filter needed to be replaced(still looks brand new and indicator shows it has over 80% life left). Please do not trust the service department or get a second opinion from a trusted mechanic if you are to get service done on your vehicle at Lake Chevrolet. I will never bring my vehicles to that service department again

I live in a small town so buying a car can be challenging, most of the time has to be done remotely. They took time out of there day to give every piece of information I requested and gave an amazing price with no hidden fees, even gave me a great and fair deal on my trade in without seeing it in person. When I was able to make it out to them they already had all the paperwork ready and was out of there in less than an hour. My blower motor and blower motor resistor went out on my 2006 Ford F 150 in the dead of winter in…read moreDecember of 2022. I called up Scott the owner of D&R Tire in Cando, ND. I asked him to order a new blower motor and blower motor resistor and put in the new parts as I needed heat in my pickup right away as my family and I use it quite a bit. Scott did not order the new parts as requested and instead all he did was take the blower motor resistor out and put it back in five to six times and charged me $40 for it. A week and a half later, my heat went out again. I was not happy at all as I requested that he order the new parts and install them which he neglected to do. I then called up Devils Lake Ford in Devils Lake, ND and requested that they order a new blower motor and blower motor resistor and install the new parts. Devils Lake Ford did exactly that and my heat has been working just fine since my visit to Devils Lake Ford. Also, Scott's son Preston was removing snow with D&R Tire's skid steer from our driveway prior to us taking our pickup to D&R Tire. As soon as I informed one of Scott's employee's that I was not happy that Scott charged me $40 for the band aid he put on my pickup's heat and that it still went out, Scott put a stop to Preston clearing any snow from our driveway in the future. Whenever we called Preston during the next snowfall, Preston and Scott both said that they were busy and Scott refused to have Preston help us! Scott is a quack for a mechanic and he is a vindictive person. Do not go to D&R Tire as they will not fix your vehicle and will charge you money anyway. They will not do anything that you request them to do and they simply put band aids on your vehicle. I do not recommend D&R Tire at all for anything!

I dropped it off on a Thursday and received no update until I called them the following Monday. They told me my car was ready to go and they had tried to call that Friday however I have no missed call or voicemail. When I picked up my car they said their technician couldn't recreate the issue and my belts are fine. Unfortunately I had to take my keys, and drop off my rental before coming back to take my car afterhours. I should have started it up when I got my keys because after returning immediately the squealing was present and only got worse after I drove. I left them a voicemail immediately asking them to call me back so we can resolve this issue. A full week has passed with no word from them. TLDR: I paid $107 for an oil change I didn't ask for, my issue was unresolved, and they need to get their ears checked because my belt is still singing!
