Customer service has always been A1. But I have a huge issue with the rate increases. I have been a customer with two units for eight years at this location and have experienced tremendous increases in my unit prices. I understand inflation/increases but not at the rate that they are coming. One year I had the rates increase four times. And 2-3 times a year the other years. That is just ridiculous. For short term renters this may be ok. But for the long term customer this is beyond reasonable. read more

I rented a unit from the company 3yrs ago WINCHESTER 38115 location because a very good friend of mine suggested them and I was also moving into the apartment complex directly behind them. The gate never worked causing me to never have access to my belongings as promised at the start of the lease for the unit luckily I worked at for American Car Center and my storage unit was on the back side of the building so my management team was able to keep an eye out for me on it for me. However, people would walk through the storage gates from the apartments I lived in they created a walk way to get through the gate weird and unsafe right?! My unit price went up after barely a year. I was never advised when break ins would take place my friend that moved to Louisiana called me to advise me that property had been broken into via a letter mailed to her. I was charged after vacating the unit and literally had to go months fighting for refund rep Dana acted as if she didn't knw who I was and then all of a sudden remember me when I asked abt corporate I was told I'd be dealing with corporate but ended up being a lady named Debbie and another forgot her name but seems like a bunch of cell phone voicemails and emails until I guess they got sick of me and refunded my money. THOUGHT I THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN ENOUGH RIGHT?!?! Wrong ‍ I tried a another location this time hoping to give them a second chance. EPIC FAILURE there's a sweet lady that now works there just started in management I think Lizzy maybe she replaced the DEBBIE lady I think funny because there was a white lady and a black guy there when I went to get my unit I had already reserved online and discussed when this new hires lady called me ask if I'd like to upgrade for a bigger unit NOPE I want the promotion free month free she was super sweet advised me to go ahead come that way all for no one to have keys. I was told by those two people they're like contact me when they got another location and someone would meet me back with keys. Ruined my entire day I had ppl waiting to help me move ended up having to keep my U-Haul way longer than anticipated and guess what had to find another storage place open last minute because those jerk offs never called me!!!!! That's why I filed the BBB COMPLAINT LAST TIME AND FOR THAT LADY TO HAVE THE NERVE TO THROW MS DEBBIE UNDER THE BUS " oh no she longer works with the company as if she's doing a better job to judge was a joke!!!! Not to mention I never asked about Debbie talk about TACKY!!! save your money guys go down the street to extra storage at least they are open and will call you back!!!!! Do NOT store your items at this facility. I had BRAND new items still in boxes that got water damaged. Brand new sectional couch that cost me $1000. Shoes clothes & other household items. Smart TVs , soundbars & other electronics. I placed my items in storage due to my job relocating me short notice . I finally go back to get my things months later & everything had WATER damage. Immediately I call the office to let them know of the problem, I get a representative saying the office closed at 4pm no1 was available I would have to wait until Monday. I advised I didn't stay in town & was leaving the next day. I had to dispose all of my items they were so wet & drenched they were molded due to how I had everything neatly stacked. So Monday I call the office to let them know what happen they tell me I have to file a claim through another company XERCOR. So I file my claim with the company . Literally months pass by before I hear anything from them I called & emailed the company daily & left several msgs. Finally I hear from the insurance company & they offer me $600 WTF. My couch alone was more than that. My unit # was 5088 so if they rent out this unit I suggest you request another unit. They kept asking how did the water get in the unit IM NOT SURE.this is y'all facility you should be able to locate the leak problem & fix it . I placed my items in your storage facility under the assumption it was a safe environment. I will never use this company again or REFER ANYONE to this company. read more
