None of the places we've gone to in previous years (Sears parking lot, Main Street in Milltown, etc.) were set up. I know it was raining, and rain can deter tree shoppers, but Thanksgiving was late this year, so not only is it quite common for people to get their tree sometime during the holiday weekend, but Christmas is only about 3 weeks away -- so where were all the trees?!? We decided to drive around and see if we could find any place that was selling trees. We almost drove right past the sign for Harris Farm, but, boy oh boy, am I glad we didn't! What a great selection of super fresh trees! And despite the fact that it was cold and raining cats and dogs, the young men who greeted and helped us were warm and sunny. The tree prices are reasonable ($49) and actually less than what I thought a "farm tree" would cost. I still can't explain why there were no Christmas trees to be found the weekend after Thanksgiving, but this bizarre day led us to the farm we'll definitely go to for our tree from now on.

Instead of handling the request professionally, manager Enrique immediately made the process difficult and refused to provide the refund, claiming that refunds cannot be done on Sundays. That explanation made no sense, especially since there is no clear mention in Ashley's return policy stating that refunds cannot be processed on Sundays. Rather than simply helping or calmly explaining the process, he chose to challenge me and make an already frustrating situation even worse. What was most unacceptable was the way I was treated. Enrique told me I had "wasted the salesperson's time" because she had spent two hours on the sale, as if that somehow justified refusing to help me. That is not customer service. That is blaming and shaming a customer for wanting to cancel a purchase less than 24 hours later. His behavior then became aggressive and intimidating. He raised his voice, walked around the counter, stood directly in front of my face, and continued debating and challenging me instead of resolving the issue. At no point did he show any interest in customer care, de-escalation, or professionalism. His goal seemed to be making the refund process as difficult and uncomfortable as possible. I made it clear during the interaction that I will be filing a formal complaint with Ashley head office regarding both the handling of the refund request and Enrique's unacceptable behavior. This was not just poor service. It was hostile, confrontational, and completely unacceptable behavior from a manager. A company that claims to value customers should never allow someone in leadership to treat people this way. Based on this experience, I would strongly discourage anyone from shopping at this Ashley location.

There are a few things that aren't included in the price. I saw a pumpkin cannon launcher that was extra and it was pretty cool to watch! The food isn't amazing and a bit pricey but it's to be expected really at something like this! They had BBQ, lemonade stand, funnel cakes, Playa Bowls and one of the food trucks had seafood. Over all a good experience to visit once a year with larger group on nice fall day, support your local farms and farmers!

Bring more than you think, it can get expensive, pumpkins are sold per pound. 2. Bring an extra bag. They do not allow large bags or coolers, however, there are food trucks, and if you'd like to purchase extra to bring home, the trucks do not have bags. It was difficult to walk around with several funnel cakes, drinks, candy apples, fried oreos etc without dropping anything. An extra bag would have been helpful. 3. Dress in layers. It gets cool quickly in the evening but during the day if it's sunny, it could feel comfortable or hot.

I called over to Fama's and was assured my delivery was on the schedule and due to be there within an hour. 30 minutes later mulch was in my driveway, just as my daughter got home from school. The driver had a brief polite conversation with my daughter which was amazing to witness!! So we googled and came across Wolgast. Here is how it works..... You arrive and park off the gravel road, cross the road on foot over to the giant field of trees. Once you choose one you can either opt to cut it down yourself with a hack saw or wave for an employee who will cut it down with a chainsaw. All trees are $45 from little baby ones to the 15 footers. We took a few laps around the field before making a selection. I bought the tree the weekend after thanksgiving and it's still going strong today. Beautiful. Happy to support a local farm as well.
