I was hoping to score some quick topsoil, but ended up walking out with much more! Fama is an authentic, family owned and operated farmers market and nursery. As said, top soil was the only item on my list. But, then I saw that they tout Jersey Fresh produce. I picked up a few of the most beautiful tomatoes I've ever seen, and jersey corn. They also sold fresh today I n-house and home-grown Serrano chiles, ghost peppers, cherrie bombs, habañeros, and hybrid bonnets. I also picked up some squash, cukes, white potatoes, and apples. They sell fresh pies (order ahead for a discount). I left very happy and very impressed!

Fama is the best. I think it's run by an elderly couple and they are very sweet and polite. Good quality stuff and it's my neighborhood stood for all things nursery and gardening especially for firewood. Had a great experience purchasing a 1/4 quart of firewood. Exact size and good quality wood that fits well in my fire shed.

I don't like to be treated as though they're doing me a favor. So I hid the road and wound up at Crossroads. To tell the truth it was a bit more expensive. A young woman gave me great service. I know nothing about bushes and all that stuff. If she didn't know an answer she found someone that did.She also liked my joke!. We had everything delivered and it went perfect. The next day went back for another small tree and everyone remembered my name. That could be because they're good of I'm such a pain in the ass that they'd remember me. Totally recommend this place- ask for Mike.

I truly wish that Yelp allowed zero Stars. Here is my…read moreunfortunate experience with the owner, "Joe"... Thursday, June 4th, I called and made a delivery order for 2 yards of black mulch and two yards or top soil. This delivery was going to an elder couple that I was doing some landscaping work for (not my own home)). The delivery was scheduled for 9am on Sunday, June 7th. I went to their house at 8:45am to lay tarps and wait for the delivery to be able to pay the guys. At 9:21am, I made the first phone call to Joe- and the answer I got was, "I've waited 4-5 hours for a delivery before,, the delivery guy is out on the road, he will be there". At 9:53am, I called for a second time, just get an update, considering it's been a half hour for a 3 mile drive. Joe proceeds to tell me that my order ticket was for 10am, not 9am and that the driver was on the road headed my way. Oddly, he never asked for an address, or anything. Fast forward another 45 minutes. I chose to make the 3 mile drive to Crossroads Nursery. Talked to a young guy on a loader who said that when the next drive gets back, they will driver it right away. That was at 10:45ish. I walked into the main nursery to pay for the delivery since I no longer was able to wait for the delivery. I went to hand, Mr. Attitude aka Joe, the owner, a check and he just looked at me and said, "what do you want me to do with this?" "Well, I would like to pay for the delivery that hasn't arrived yet, as I cannot wait any longer". "Oh your the bad attitude lady on the phone". Listen, I was annoyed at the situation but Joe tells me he just got off the phone with the driver but when I ask for an ETA, he says that he may have stopped for gas, or food or even maybe broke down. Then he hung up on me. As for my check, he threw it back at me in front of oof her customers and said..."the nerve of some people", "you're mad bc your delivery is 30 mins late", "it's not my fault that you never made an order ticket". So after alllllll of this, bottomline is that when I spoke to the owner on Thursday, he never made the ticket and I was never getting a delivery. I will NEVER use this place again. I will be happy to turn people away from this place. I am embarrassed that this guy owns a business, especially I in the same town that I live. I have seen that this is not the first complaint about Joe-the owner, being rude, abrasive, combative and just downright absurdly nasty.

Regrettably, my recent interactions, particularly with one individual--the owner--have left me feeling quite disheartened and frustrated. On May 19, 2026, I made a significant purchase of approximately $3,000 to expand my backyard patio. I specifically chose Livingston Park due to their status as authorized dealers of Cambridge pavers, as I wanted to ensure that the new materials would seamlessly match the existing components of my patio. During my visit, I consulted with a knowledgeable office assistant who confidently assured me that she could match all the necessary stones, including Ledgestones, Cap double-sided pieces, and Column stones.Recent Experience:Incomplete Delivery: When my contractor began work on the expansion project on June 6, 2026, he quickly realized that one essential item--the Cap Single-sided Split Face Large Ruby/Onyx--was missing from the delivery. Despite being listed on the receipt as included, this item was notably absent from the shipment. Poor Communication: I reached out to the owner to address this issue, and he informed me that Cambridge no longer produced that specific item. Instead, he had taken the liberty of substituting it with a different product without notifying me beforehand. His dismissive remark, "We cannot track all our individual customers' needs," struck me as egocentric and indicative of an overconfidence that disregards customer responsibility. Lack of Follow-Up: The owner assured me that he would contact Cambridge to see if the missing item could be procured and promised to follow up with me the following Monday. However, that was five weeks ago, and I have yet to receive any updates or communication from him. Previous Experience:This troubling experience is not an isolated incident. In 2024, I ordered around $5,000 worth of materials for a separate project, and once again, I encountered issues with the same owner. He guaranteed that the materials would be delivered on a Saturday morning, as our contractor was scheduled to commence work early that day. After waiting for hours without any sign of delivery, I called the office at around 3:00 PM to inquire about the status of my order. To my shock, his response was, "Our vehicle is broken down, and they will deliver the product on the following Monday." It was astonishing that he made such decisions without informing customers or considering the ramifications of his company's shortcomings. Conclusion:While I genuinely appreciate the support and expertise provided by other staff members at Livingston Park, my recent encounters with the owner have raised serious concerns about his reliability and overall approach to customer service. His lack of communication, coupled with a dismissive attitude, has resulted in significant delays and complications for my projects.I hope this review will serve as a thoughtful warning for potential customers and encourage Livingston Park Nursery to address these pressing service issues. It is vital for any business to prioritize customer satisfaction and maintain transparency in their operations.

I pulled up today and there was no one there. An associate came out and asked for my pickup # and that he will be right back. In my app, it showed I picked up my item. 15 min later with a screaming toddler in my car, I marched into the store and found the guy that was supposed to help me.. loading shelves. I told him he marked it as pickup (they are timed with their orders) but yet never gave it to me. Management needs to correct this issue and not have the associates ask for the pickup number until they give the items to the customer. I know they can see it on their end with what we purchased, so there's no need to ask for the number. The only thing I can think of is something is fishy going on so it makes them look like the pickup times are super fast, in reality they aren't.
