I'm giving Brooklyn 5 red stars because it's one of those pizza establishments that not only serves…read moregreat food, but will also accommodate strange requests from its customers. And by 'strange', I don't mean THAT (I know what you might be thinking...), but rather it's having either pizza with NO CHEESE (because I'm vegan) OR pizza with BRING YOUR OWN CHEESE, that is in the few occasions that I was able to acquire vegan cheese (Daiya mozzarella shreds at Healthy Options). They will gladly use it as a substitute with no hesitations. Price still remains the same, of course. Without cheese, their pizza is still terrific. What I love most about it is the sauce. But, the veggie pizza with the vegan cheese...it's AMAZING. The best thing is that I can eat this without any guilt at all, as no animals were harmed in the creation of this masterpiece! Also, do try their Pomodoro Pasta. I love angel hair pasta, but with that magical tomato sauce it's really flavorful and worth all the carbs.

I have several favorite pizza places, one that I grew up with, one that I go to when I have a little extra and the dark horse- Brooklyn Pizza. I've been coming to this place since it and it has been consistently delicious through the years. I personally like their white cheese and anchovy flavors. I came here recently and ordered the large size with 2 kinds of flavors, all sliced in party cuts. My boyfriend and I finished the entire box to ourselves and swore we'd eat healthier the next day. (Which in our case never happens but at least we talk about it) All in all, I think Brooklyn is one of the few places where you can get the best pizza in town and the (pizza) girl in me swears by it.

Gino's Brick Oven Pizza - Breakfast Pizza. Eggs were raw, which I didn't care for. But I loved the Burrata!

As soon as we arrived, a friendly staff member opened the door for us, greeted us warmly, and let us choose where we'd like to sit. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, but it's cozy, inviting, and has a great atmosphere. We ordered the Salami Pizza and Meatball Spaghetti. I remembered to take a photo of the pizza, but completely forgot to snap a picture of the spaghetti because we were so hungry and excited to dig in--LOL! The food was absolutely delicious. The highlight for me was their special Gino's Spicy Honey that they recommend drizzling over the pizza. I had never heard of or tried spicy honey on pizza before, but wow--it was amazing! The sweet and spicy flavor paired perfectly with the pizza and created a combination I'll definitely be craving again. Great food, friendly service, and a wonderful dining experience. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Makati!

Let me tell you, I've liked every single experience I've had eating food from Yellowcab is always a great one. Being the seafood lover that I am, I usually order their Roasted Garlic & Shrimp pizza and it is pretty much my favorite pizza that Yellowcab offers. My next favorite pizza is their Corona Chicken Salsa pizza! It's pretty much Chicken, tomato and mozarella, and they serve this pizza with slices of lime which you squeeze on the pizza..... and have a taste of one really awesome pizza. I can't put into words how much I love this pizza of theirs! And my third favorite pizza of theirs, when I want to eat something that contains purely vegetable would be the Dear Darla pizza! Other than pizza, my recommendations would be their Twice Baked Potato Halves, their Hot Wings, and their Charlie Chan Chicken Pasta!

Everybody knows how delicious their New York style pizzas are. But Yellow Cab is more than just a…read morepizza place, so this time I would like to rave about their unsung heroes. For starters (literally), their soup is really creamy. My dad prefers the tomato soup while we love the squash. It's not super thick, but they have the right amount of broth and flavor. Then there's the pasta. It usually plays second fiddle to their pizza, but the Charlie Chan Chicken Pasta is really fantastic. The noodles taste good with the sesame oil and nuts. We tried something similar in a more expensive restaurant and it was not nearly as nice. Their baked potato halves is super sinful (potatoes, Mozzarella cheese and BACON) especially when you put sour cream on top, but we love it. This is my family's default place when we can't decide where to eat, or if it's too late and other dining establishments are already closed (they're open 24 hours).

If you've tried Papa Johns in the US, you know what you're in for. Its fast food delivery pizza,…read morenot authentic Italian style. But that doesn't mean its bad. Portions here seem to be smaller than in the USA. Their small size here is just 9 inches. But that 9-inch pizza is surprisingly filling. All if their pizzas come with a whole jalapeño & their signature garlic butter sauce. The pizza itself isn't terribly remarkable. A step above Greenwich & Yellow Cab for sure, but not at the level of a pizza from a real Italian restaurant. But their secret weapon us really that garlic butter sauce. That's what elevates their pizza from a 3 to a 4. Delivery from their Jupiter branch from Makati to Taguig generally takes half the time quoted, which is great. Receiving a pizza in 30 minutes in metro Manila is no small accomplishment. Their phone ordering system is prompt, with caller ID and they store your delivery info. No waiting on hold, unlike Dominos. They are inconsistent with the condiments tho. A small pizza supposedly comes with 1 garlic sauce. I always order 1 extra. But I've received anywhere from 1 to 4 depending on their mood. They offer free parmesan ( if they remember it). No hot sauce (unless they're just always forgetting it). No tissues. They do have chili flakes tho. Other places always give you a flyer with menu to facilitate repeat orders. Papa Johns never does that. Dont know why. It seems like a no brainer to increase order frequency. I still say the best most authentic pizza is from Caffe Puccini. But Papa Johns with their garlic sauce is definitely worth trying. Especially if you don't want to go out.

I had some really good memories associated with that place - mostly because it was our go-to birthday celebration dinner place and our go-to org working lunch place because there was a 30% discount for students. I mean, when you're looking for a good barkada meal, pizza is always in the conversation right? Papa John's makes damn good pizza: particularly their chicken pizza with the barbecue sauce drizzled on top - that's fucking divine. If you can get another pizza, add in their pepperoni too which is also pretty good. Not only that, but Papa John's offers a variety of good pasta too - their spicy penne is one to look out for. They also have a variety of barkada-packaged meals which can actually feed more than they're described. (The 4-person barkada meal can definitely feed 6.) Papa John's makes pizza a hell of a lot better than a lot of pizza chain places, and then some, so if you're itching for some good and pretty damn sulit pizza, then it's a good place to go to.
