Jim was always professional, caring and available whenever I needed his guidance in regard to my hair. For years after seeing Dr. DeYarman, he refilled my Finasteride prescription at no charge. After he passed, I was told by his office that his replacement, Dr. Joshua Pal, would require a 1x fee of $50 to transfer the prescription, but that he would then continue to refill as needed. I hesitantly paid the fee, and my prescription was refilled. One year later, I contacted the office again for a refill and was told that the $50 charge would be an annual fee and that I'd have to pay again. $50 for an annual prescription refill of a prescription we are expected to take indefinitely to maintain results, no visit required. I feel ripped off and lied to. I will definitely not be engaging this office for services ever again, and I recommend you don't either. read more

I was treated my Dr. Deyarman in March 2021. I am leaving a review because the treatment Dr. Deyarman provided was expensive and ineffective. First, he instructed me to stop Rogaine, get stem cell injections and get a laser cap. This cost $6,000 dollars. As instructed by Dr. Deyarman, I used the laser cap 6 minutes per day. On our 6 month check-in, we discovered my hair had thinned significantly since treatment. He then recommended that I start Rogaine which made no sense as he is the one who originally instructed I stop it. He also recommended more stem cells which I did not proceed with. Lastly, I also called to ask for more information about how the stem cells used in my treatment were made and sourced. Dr. Deyarman asked "are you in the FDA?" when I responded "no, I'm your patient" he said "ok, I'm asking as they will try and shut us down." He then told me that the owner of supplier he used previously got in trouble with the FDA. Needless to say, this conversation made me feel very uncomfortable and concerned about the safety of treatment that is being provided here. And again, the treatment he provided didn't work at all. I couldn't be happier with Dr. DeYarman. I had the stem cell PRP procedure done, and 3 months later, my hair has grown out so much thicker and even see it filling in all the empty spots. Has anyone gotten the stem cell injection procedure? My hair is thinning in some spots and I went here for the stem cell injections which I was told was $3000. The day of the procedure I paid the money before they started once I was laying there the Dr told the assistant to grab the vial of stem cells and she replied "Only One?" He said said which that one small vial was not enough to cover the thinning areas. I had a hair transplant with Dr DeYarman in 2006, he said it was about 4200 grafts. After a few months with just about 20% of the grafts surviving I went back to him and complained. He agreed to do another transplant of about 2000 but I had to pay for them. To add more to that he closed the wound with some type of clips which left a couple of scars in the back of my head. By now about 5% of all what he transplanted survived. For a doctor to care about how much money he's making may be ok, but not to care about doing a good job is the worst. I'm not sure on the validity of some of these poor review below. But for those of you who are seriously considering this procedure, let me share my experience as an actual patient of Dr. Deyarman and some of my thought process in selecting him. First off, this guy has only done hair transplants and has done them well for the last 30+ years. Secondly he is the one teaching other doctors how to do them. You can also find TV appearances on his website and info to back this. He uses smaller blades and better technology that produce more natural looking results. After considering all of this, then see how many of your other doctors you are looking at can say the same. If you really want this procedure done, do yourself a favor and go in for a consultation and let your experience be the judge. i wouldn't trust the deyarman medical group at all. i had a consultation there and it was a very negative experience. what i didn't like was that BOTH dr. deyarman and isabel, his assistant, asked me very innocently "ohh ... you're so young ... are you married?", as if to suggest a link between my single status and my hair loss (i was a younger patient). i immediately left the clinic and took my money elsewhere. i felt they were subtly trying to make me feel bad about my hair loss in order to pressure me into booking the procedure and thought it was a red flag indicating very poor work ethics. i wouldn't trust a doctor that uses this kind of low trick. on his website he claims that "the young age group is handled with extreme care". don't let that fool you. if you're young, he'll remind you you're unmarried to pressure you. i thought he was better than that. total waste of time! read more
