Today was my first visit and my last. I was hoping to transfer care for my migraines as i had just…read moremoved to the area. I had been prescribed botox for chronic migraines and was fairly new to receiving treatment. I only had 2 treatments done by 2 different doctors who had different ways of administering the medication (difference in ratio of saline:botox and needle size). I explained this to Dr Fadil and asked how he administered the botox. He replied in a very condescending manner saying that he "does it in the standard way it is approved, because that is how it got approved by the FDA." Mind you, I am not a neurologist nor do I administer botox myself, so I have no idea what is the "standard way," because as stated previously I had 2 different experiences, so I don't know which one was "standard." Needless to say I will not be returning, because I don't feel comfortable asking this doctor questions when it comes to my healthcare treatment. Staff is nice though.

I've been a patient of Dr fadil since May 2021. Scheduling an appointment was easy. The…read morereceptionist was friendly. At my first appointment with dr fadil I waited at least an hour after being called back to do my blood pressure and weight. We went over all my history and the goals I was hoping to achieve. All went well until we had started weaning off one medication to a new one. The new medication after a certain dose gave me a lot of side effects. In the very beginning at the lowest dose I had fatigue, headaches, loss of appetite and soft bowel movements. Eventually it went away by week 3. Once I got to a higher dose 50mg twice a day I started to get intense nightmares recurring multiple times at night so I can't sleep and cysts on my head. I called his office more than once because I was concerned about the issues I was having so I stopped the medication and stayed on the one I was taking prior to weaning and then had a cluster of seizures I hadn't had since childhood. Both times it's taken over a week to get a call back from his office. When it comes to my health I don't mess around and if I call the dr there's a good reason for the call. I rarely call the dr unless I'm having an issue with seizures or a serious issue from meds. Only other times I call is refill of meds or to schedule an appointment for a follow up. I'll be switching to someone else as soon as possible.

The doctor was great but the office and billing department is a total scam. I was scheduled for an…read moreEMG procedure and I talked to three people at my insurance who all said the co-pay would be $15 because it's an office visit not outpatient. I was unable to get ahold of anyone at the main desk or billing office for days, and someone at the desk finally answered. They insisted my insurance told them to charge me $412 because I had not yet met my deductible. I spoke to them three times to relay what my insurance said, but they refused to bill it as an office visit and tried to bill it as outpatient. Ended up having to cancel the procedure the morning I was supposed to get it because they were trying to scam me. I should've known better because they did the same last fall. Insurance told me another procedure was covered 100% because I had met my deductible and out of pocket. But they ended up charging me $500. I do not recommend this practice and cancelled my other three upcoming appointments. Also, they scheduled my follow up for the procedure for two months from now and wouldn't put me on a cancellation list. So I would have had to wait until September 29 to find out the EMG results and why I can't feel half of my left hand, which severely impacts my work because I type 8 hours a day.

The earliest appointment I could get was for April 8th, less than a week before the appointment they called to tell me they would have to postpone it so it was delayed another week to April 15th. After meeting with the doctor he told me I would need further testing and scheduled it for May 5th and also the follow up visit to review the results on Jun 19th. However the day before the test they called to tell me the equipment was broken and they couldn't do the test and they did not know when the equipment would be fixed. A few days later they called again and told me the equipment at my office in South Arlington might not ever be fixed so they sent me to their office in Grapevine (45 min drive one way from my house). Today (Jun 19th) I went in to the office for the follow up and was told the doctor wasn't in. They said they had left me a message on the 17th advising of the change and the next available appoint was July 7th. I told them that wasn't acceptable and asked them to send all of the information, diagnosis and test result to my primary care physician. They then proceeded to have me fill out paper work to release the information even though he was the referring physician. I would avoid working this office at all cost.

Well, guess what? I originally posted an unfavorable review of the doctor and his clinic, and I had…read morecalled the medical board regarding this doctor, and then suddenly, he started taking my 3 1/2 week migraine seriously. He actually started writing scripts for the medication that my insurance would cover. I spoke with several of his staff, and it was my understanding that I was to return to get the injections. I called today to check on that, and apparently he has sent out a letter dismissing me from his clinic. Never underestimate the ego of a narcissist. So, I agreed to reverse the yelp review, and I called the medical board and reversed my complaint. Still the little narcissistic man was unhappy. Of course no one told me any of this as I was trying to set up my appointment for for getting the injections I needed until today, and I had to initiate the phone call. So, I guess he decided he doesn't like me. Oh well, on to a different neurologist. . My advice is to stay as far away from this clinic as you possibly can. The staff do not communicate with each other, the doctor constantly calls in prescriptions that your insurance doesn't even cover, and his bedside manner, is that of an unsalted potato chip. If I could give him a negative 5 stars, I would. Do not walk away from this clinic. Run. Run as fast as you can.
