It's a smaller store, but it's also in a smaller town, and I'm grateful to have a Ross available locally. That said, I was a little disappointed with the inventory during my visit. The selection seemed somewhat limited, and parts of the store felt a bit disorganized. I was able to find a pair of shoes for my son, which was exactly what we needed at the time, and the price was reasonable, though I wouldn't necessarily call it a standout deal. On the positive side, the staff were friendly, and the checkout process was smooth and efficient. I'll definitely visit again in the future to see if my experience was simply a matter of timing, as inventory and organization can vary from one visit to the next.

The store is arranged so that you have to get past the horrendous selection of shoes to get to the clothes. Bedding and other home goods occupy the left hand side past the registers. Good luck in that miasma of mid-priced bed and bath items. A few shelves of lamps, decor and accessories fill out the back wall. In the middle is low tables piled high with toys, food, flotsam and Jetsom that looks like is was dumped out of a cardboard box directly onto the table. Checking out is through a carefully planned enclosed aisle way, packed with all of the impulse items you didn't know you needed. You get quick, efficient service at the register once you finally get your turn. I'd call it a cousin to Big Lots or Walls. Discount fun!

Shelves look mostly empty. There are stickers that say "new item" but only 1-3 items are there representing that new item. Sparse is the best word to fit this store. Every time I visit, no matter time of day, hardly anyone is shopping and the cashier acts exhausted. Is it a bad location? Can't or wont hire more help? I hope this place improves eventually.

Aside from books, they also sell jewelry and purses and various other trinkets. The owner told me that they try to buy from less fortunate countries so they can help them build businesses, which I thought was pretty awesome. I can't remember the term he used for this.. but he also said that he sells some local things on consignment also. I will definitely be going back to this place :)
