I HATED this Walmart. First of all, if you want swimming trunks on clearance during winter, they…read moreonly have 3x sizes. I'm not sure why this Walmart had so many 3x sizes. Maybe this town holds some very large swimming trunks in the winter wearers. Anyway, this Walmart only had 3x swimming trunks on clearance during winter. Not sure why this was the case. I recommend this Walmart to those who are extremely large and need swimming trunks during the winter. I just ordered a grocery order for my squad and crew, my group of people. I placed the order early in the AMs. Despite this, my order wasn't ready at 8PM. Slightly before this junkhouse, I mean Walmart, closed. So I had to go drive to brookshire, where I had an incredible experience. You can I'll also have to mention that this Walmart only has swimming trunks that are the 3x size in the winter time. In summary, I recommend this Walmart to those who are extremely large in winter and need 3x swim trunks. OR those who like altering their plans and putting their only food for the week on the edge. Thank you for your time. #ferda and happy 4th

Fruit, Veggies: fresh carrots, green beans, oranges, OJ, peppers, onions, mixed cut veggies, blueberries, apples, celery, broccoli, sweet potatoes, even asparagus- all looked great - and were good prices Sliced cheese, granola- 3 different kinds, croissants, tasty fresh bread, sandwich meat. Huge selection of all those two. Then, since I was hungry- brownie bites, 2 kinds of gelato (tiramisu gelato ) milk, tea, pistachios.... I needed Benadryl gel, & liquid - both on sale. And a cute cotton shirt also ended up in the cart- on sale $9!! Lots of reduced prices. A great shopping trip. Food for a couple weeks and healthy choices in the grocery area. Great prices and choices. Thanks for that!!

I came here looking for school clothes for my daughter and t-shirts for myself. I was able to get…read more10% off on the clothes. They also had a sale on shampoo and the sale was advertised as Redkin shampoo & conditioner 2 for $34 regular $50. They had the shampoo on the rack right in front of the register with a large sign in front of them, but the shampoo that by the sign was not the right size. The shampoo by the sign were the large bottles and were regularly $50/each. They had to page the manager over the salon to the front to find out what the sale was actually advertising. He said that the size of the bottles being advertised were in the back in the salon, but he did go and get them for me. I am not sure why they put that sign in front of the wrong sized bottles. I don't know if they were intentionally being deceptive or if it was an honest mistake. It was kind of annoying either way because it caused me to have to spend a long time in the checkout line, and there was alot of confusion. However I did find a good deal on 2 shirts for myself in the clearance section and my daughter found several shirts that she liked, and I did get the shampoo for a discounted price, so overall it was a good shopping trip, I just wish they had been a little more straightforward about what was actually being advertised with the shampoo/conditioner.

She made sure that I was comfortable and would tell me what she was going to do my hair step-by-step. I just wanted a simple cornrow hairstyle, nothing fancy. My cornrows are out so cute and I will be going there in the future.

Yep, it ain't much of a mall. There are couple of department stores (J.C. Penny, Palais Royal) and…read morea few smaller shops, but overall, the space is being rented to TDCJ for office space. The thing is, locals know that Huntsville is a bit of retail wasteland. Always has been. There have been complaints about a lack of good stores and decent restaurants as long as I can remember. Westhill mall is an ambitious and failed attempt to correct that. As far as it being part of a "country hell". I grew up here and returned after living in some of the greatest cities in the world. I know how good and bad Huntsville is. The lack of a 'real' mall doesn't even register on my radar. I can't imagine true mall culture in this town. Just thinking about a Hot Topic in Huntsville makes me laugh. West Hill mall does make a good place to get in a little light walking in the middle of our 100 degree summers. In fact, a lot of people use it for that instead of driving 15 miles out of town to New Waverly, or, for that matter, going to the public walking tracks in town, or the multiple gyms, the large state park, the public swimming pool, or the state of the art university facilities. Older people, in particular, prefer West Hill mall for their exercise. I am not claiming West Hill Mall is adequate by 'mall' standards, but if you come to Huntsville expecting the same retail amenities as a large city or a wealthy suburb like the Woodlands, you are highly delusional and set up for disappointment. And, I will stand on your LA or SF coffee table in my boots to tell you so (although I do love SF).
