There was a pleasant gal at the register who pleasantly greeted me when I said hello. I hurried and got what I needed and went to checkout. I was the only customer in the store. Miss Christina waited on me and she was just as sweet as could be really can't say enough about her kindness and pleasantries. Thank you Miss Christina in the dollar tree at 2701 South Mooney Blvd. You are an asset to the store.

This Dollar Tree is massive and has an excellent, well-stocked selection that isn't messy or…read morechaotic. Unfortunately, the shopping experience is ruined by the environment. Most of the times I come here, the floors look completely unmopped and the entire store heavily reeks of pee. They are severely understaffed, always leaving just one single cashier to run the whole building, which leads to long wait times. With a store this large, they can absolutely afford to hire a second person to manage the register and keep up with maintenance. To make matters worse, they refuse to let customers use the restrooms, always claiming they aren't public. So many families shop here with small kids, and many low-income shoppers spend a lot of time in the store trying to stretch a budget. Denying them a bathroom is wrong. If they clean up the floors and open the restrooms, this could be a 5-star store, but for now, it's a 2-star experience.

After trying multiple times trying to scan the bar code I asked one of your managers for assistance and he said he couldn't help me and walked off instead of calling someone else to assist me. I immediately left your store and got Amazon to change the return location to the UPS store right next door. I proceeded to take my list to Grocery Outlet to do my shopping. I wanted the discount on the air freshener specifically. I asked the Asian clerk 4 times if the air freshener refills were discounted. The short flamboyant Mexican guy came up to the front to take care of the couple of people behind me. Rudely yelling next, next you could tell he was pushing the Asian guy to go faster. The Asian clerk kept saying that he doesn't know until I get rang up, so I paid for the items. It was dark I couldn't see the receipt that well so I asked him did I get the discount??? He said you got $4 off your purchase! I said that's great thank you!! So I come home take a look at the receipt and found out otherwise. The next day I go to the store to take back my purchase. I wait a bit and get the Asian guy again and I asked him if he remembered me? He said kinda then he asked if I got the discount??? I asked how would I get the discount if it never rang up like that? Then I had a discussion with him. Why he misled me and why couldn't he take a minute and look at my receipt and let me know? If they are really doing customer service to help the customers not to lie to them just to rush them out of the store?! Terrible customer service!! It's not really the money but the principle. I'd rather ring it up myself rather than dealing with bad employee relations.. -20 they don't even deserve a 1 star. Any Dollar General is 200x better in my opinion..

Although there weren't any at the register, Mario immediately offered to get some for me. He actually jogged over to grab them so he wouldn't keep the other customers waiting, which I thought was incredibly thoughtful. He went out of his way to help with something that could have easily been brushed off, and his willingness to help made a great impression. It's rare to see someone show that level of attentiveness and urgency for such a small request, but it really enhanced my shopping experience. Mario was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about providing excellent customer service. Thank you, Mario, for going the extra mile, it was greatly appreciated.
