I stopped by Sprouts today to pick up lunch and a few snacks. After grabbing some sushi, I realized I couldn't find any utensils near the sushi bar, so I headed to the register and asked Mario if there were any available there. Although there weren't any at the register, Mario immediately offered to get some for me. He actually jogged over to grab them so he wouldn't keep the other customers waiting, which I thought was incredibly thoughtful. He went out of his way to help with something that could have easily been brushed off, and his willingness to help made a great impression. It's rare to see someone show that level of attentiveness and urgency for such a small request, but it really enhanced my shopping experience. Oof. This is averaged out for the five stars I'd have given Sprouts six months ago and the 1 stars after the last two visits. Sprouts, what is happening with your customer service? One, you keep changing the rewards system and it's very hard to keep track of how points are supposed to be redeemed. Two, the original staff was phenomenal. I hope I'm just missing them, but the last two visits I've had bad service. I swear if I get one more overly lip-glossed cashier with a vapid GenZ stare when there's a problem, I'm going to stop shopping here. I don't have time for this. Sprouts was always my go to when I lived in Fresno but this Visalia location is hard to beat not only because of the selection and organization they have, but because of the customer service. I'm always super picky when it comes to my deli selection but Shannon is always incredibly patient with me, and always helpful. I recently visited Sprouts to buy items for dinner and when I went to the prepackaged area a gentleman who worked there offered to grab me something from behind the counter. He sent me home with a sample of their Honey Chipotle Salmon. Later that night I cooked it and enjoyed it. It was something I wouldn't have picked myself so I'm glad I got to try it. 03/05/2024 Keith, who was up front with samples, he was so friendly and reccomend that my mother and I try some okra from the dried fruits and nuts area and it was delicious. I enjoy all his sample. We also sampled the Heirloom Naval Oranges and the Peanut butter cookie roll and wow they were sooo good Omaha to buy both. I forgot the name of the young lady sampling these items but she was nice, knowledgeable and super friendly. Both of the staff made our shopping experience that much more enjoyable. The cashier, Denise. was also friendly and welcoming! I got some vitamins and the deodorant that I have been looking everywhere. We finally get something other than SaveMart (another dump) and the management at Sprouts is letting the quality go down. This has been a consistent problem since they opened. Sprouts Farmer's Market is open for business in Visalia, and I am here for it because this pocket of California is lacking in grocery stores which specialize in higher quality healthier foods, IMO. This Sprouts location fills the gap between Bakersfield or Fresno for healthy food stores and is a much-needed addition to town. Sprouts will be my go-to store for organic pasture-raised eggs, Raw Kefir and Rosa Brothers Milk Company products. The service at this store is top-notch. The store is located in the newly renovated section of the Sequoia Mall and is spacious and clean but feels a tad smaller than other Sprouts stores that I have shopped in, but probably the right size for its location. read more

By far my favorite store. Kristine is always Amiable. Everyone always has a great attitude I shop at Sprouts all the time and really appreciate the fresh produce, organic options, and overall quality. The store is clean and easy to navigate, and I can usually find specialty items that regular grocery stores don't carry. Sprouts is my go to for fresh produce and healthy options. The stores always clean and the employees are friendly. Myself and sons walked I and were welcomed by Audrey at the sample table and asked to try a few samples. She was friendly and answered my questions about the samples and she also answers my question about other products in the store and even showed me where to find them. My son who is diabetic and needs low sugar options asked her what carbonated drink options she would recommend and she gave us a few suggestions and even let him taste one, which we bought a case of. It's nice to go to a store where the employees care and go above and beyond to help. read more

Prices outrageous (virtually everything can be found in a "regular" grocery or online) and floor employees think too much of themselves. Trader Joe's has nothing on Sprouts. I think that Visalia has no better a market than Sprouts as a matter of fact. I went to Sprouts for the first time looking for specific items and unfortunately for me I am afflicted with the notion of "get in, get it & get out". I found what I needed but in doing so my head was on a swivel taking in the atmosphere and wild variety of products. Very pleasing I must say. Gonna go back and take a closer look as I believe I will be making that market a go-to for sure. read more
