Parking is street-only, so on busy days you may need to park a bit farther and walk. Ordering is counter service, then you grab a seat and wait for your food. The place was clean and well maintained. Overall, a solid spot for lunch.

The prices were AMAZING--so much cheaper than other grocery stores I've been to lately. I was genuinely shocked at how much I was able to get without spending a fortune. They even have claw machines for the kids near the front, and the best part is that you're guaranteed to win! The larger machines are a little more expensive, but even then, it's still cheaper than buying some of the same squishy toys in a store. And the 50-cent sodas in the vending machines?! WHAT?! I haven't seen soda that cheap in forever! The cashier who helped me was also really nice and friendly, which made the experience even better. My only complaint was coming in early in the morning. There were a lot of employees around, and several checkout lanes and isles were blocked off, so everything was a detour to get to which made things a little awkward and inconvenient. And the parking lot was like dirty but not dirty it just had a whole bunch of little small particles and trash all over the floor but the Buggies were all nicely together and ready to go. The inside also had a lot of trash and boxes all over but that's to be expected because it's from the overnight stockers stocking but I'm sure they get rid of that trash, boxes and cardboard before they clock out. Besides those negative things I mentioned that honestly,was a small issue compared to how great everything else was. Overall, I had a really good experience and will definitely be shopping at WinCo again. The prices alone are enough to bring me back even if i do have to spend a little more in gas since i come from Hanford ! I'm just amazed!!!

They also carry healthier food choices without all the extra harmful ingredients, which is a big plus. It is, however, a quick way to grab a few basic items, such as milk, eggs, bread, veggies when you are in a hurry and don't want to wade through a big store like Winco. Forgot an item at Winco? Pick it up at Aldi in a fraction of the time. I have found several items at Aldi that I go there specifically to pick up, such as their "fresh, never frozen" salmon, the cracker cut cheddar and Gouda cheese, the hothouse cucumbers ( always under a dollar), the ground chicken which is half the price t Winco. And the seasonal products are fun to browse rough, especially at Christmas when they bring in European chocolates and cookies. It isn't full service, but it has some terrific offerings. A friend swears that their frozen cod fillets make the best fried fish (and chips) than anything you can get at a restaurant. She goes there for the cod and the chayote, which is always the cheapest in town, when they have it! As for the employees, I have always found them when I needed them, and they have always assisted me. As for self-checkout, easy, quick, and when I make a mistake, the employee at the register fixes it without me asking.

The customer service was great. No complaints. This store is definitely an older store. The ambiance is giving late 80's early to mid 90's as far as it being a store but I'm sure it's older. My aunt went in to grab some groceries for me earlier today so we could make dinner. The most logical solution to this would be to change out the cart, so she went back through the entrance to get a different one. I guess this save-mart had one of those automatic alarm systems, so because she didn't go by a register they went off. As my aunt was explaining her situation to a nearby worker, the manager comes out INCREDIBLY hostile. Immediately he starts accusing her of stealing, even AFTER she's explained the situation to him and the other employee. He doesn't hear her out, and still calls the police. So now shes in a situation where she's being accused and verbally attacked by a man in a grocery store of all things. She's upset, but continues to shop regardless because I was at home waiting for the rest of the ingredients we needed. After she exchanges her cart and she pays for her items, the manager brings the police to the checkout once they arrive. The manager asks the cashier/loss prevention girl what items my aunt paid for, and the girl says "everything?" in a confused tone, and lists off all of my aunts items. Not a single thing went unpaid outside the establishment. The police take my aunt to the side, where she explains what happened and they let her go without another word! They didn't even ask her for her name! All that man did was harass a woman and make himself look like a fool. Mind you, my aunt wears nothing but designer clothing and purses. Why on earth would someone wearing an outfit thats thousands of dollars with a purse that costs even more than that want to steal?? This guy is a joke and shouldn't be in a position of authority.
