I was concerned, but I've known people that have had this procedure without problems. Overall, It was sold as a simple procedure to alleviate his chronic back pain & it can be, UNLESS something goes wrong! The doctor that was performing the set up for the trial procedure ended up puncturing the dura mater, which allowed his spinal cord to fill with blood, which led to blood on the brain and a comatose patient. They - Red River Surgery Center (Shreveport LA) allowed him to sit in the recovery room for over an hour After they said he should be awake! Finally about three hours into the ordeal the doctor came back and they transported him to LSU. Long story short, he never regained consciousness and died on Saturday September 17, 2020! I'm am only writing this in hopes that someone else doesn't endure the loss and pain we've been through. Check the doctor's credentials and find out everything you can before undergoing this procedure. Do Not just take their word for it!

He came into the room, murmured his name, didn't acknowledge anyone, not even me as the patient. As a matter of fact, his back was turned to me the entire 3 minutes he was in the room. He didn't know if it was me on the bed or someone else...never asked my name only, "what's wrong with you?" I was in so much pain. He is insensitive, rude, unprofessional, and does not need to be in the Healthcare profession. My coworker and aunt were in the room as well. My coworker asked if they could check my glucose because I had gotten lightheaded. He typed something on the computer and then looked at her and said, "anything else?" I then asked if I could get something for the pain if it wasn't too much of a bother. At that point I felt like I was in an inconvenience for him. I asked the nurse if there was another doctor on duty, but she said patients can't change doctors. I was in too much pain to go somewhere else. I also plan to file a complaint with the CEO and/or hospital's president. He slammed the door on his way out without saying what would be done.

I took a chance coming here after a doctor at an urgent care only diagnosed 1/3 of my major issues then gave me the wrong medicine. At Healthcare Express I saw Dr. Bricker and he was so friendly and excited to do his job. He knew EXACTLY what I needed. After suffering from a throat, ear and sinus infection for four days he gave me two injections and penicillin. I was feeling 80% better within hours!! Very knowledgeable man with great morals and more than 25 years of experience. He puts the patients health first. I would recommend he and his staff to anyone who needs medical attention!

I decided to go to UrgentCare of Louisiana one week after I became ill and 4 days of laringitus and just not feeling better. Dr. Anisha Turner is the BEST! She took tests and found I had Strep Throat. Not only did she give me a steroid shot, she prescribed me FIVE other meds that kicked in immediately and by that night I was 50% better and the next day I was 80% back to my healthy self. We were instructed to do so by our primary physician. Had to basically tell them what to do. Had to ask for them to recheck urine, give IV fluids for dehydration. The doctor ordered a chest XRray for "cough" rather than checking her abdomen. she didn't have a cough!!! Dr Keitz was the rudest doctor I've ever been around. Personality of a wet mop. Absolutely NO bedside manner. Horrible visit today. Made is feel like we were wasting their time.

Dr. Kelly Bihm is the rudest, most unprofessional, and dismissive doctor I've ever encountered…read more After flying across the country to be here for my mother in the ER, he did not acknowledge any family upon entering the room and would ignore anyone speaking to him (and even refused eye contact) unless it was my mother who is a stroke patient and was experiencing confusion and severe headaches. It was clear he was attempting to discharge us with no respect or consideration for what we were going through. I would highly recommend getting him some sensitivity training asap as he has a terrible and disgusting attitude problem and I would hate for any other patient to feel the way he made us feel. My mother actually cried after his foul treatment and even felt afraid of receiving further care at this hospital. On the other hand, the Advanced Cardiovascular Specialist, Kristen Keener, stopped by and was so incredibly kind and pleasant and extremely thorough in her explanations. She answered and even welcomed any questions we had as opposed to Dr Bihm's sour and dismissive attitude when it came to our concerns. She truly came in and saved the day making this experience much more positive and helped to cheer my mother up after being so poorly treated. She really made all the difference and is the only reason I am giving this even one star.
