I really don't know where to begin. Dr Chizner was my late husband's Doctor for many years. Yesterday, I visited him because I had an abnormal EKG result from another provider that really concerned and frightened me. He and his staff spent so much time with me and showed such kindness. He put my mind at ease .. I highly recommend him. He is very humble, approachable, knowledgeable , likeable and professional with charisma rarely seen in a Doctor in his position.. Consider yourself fortunate if you are able to become one of his patients. He will make your journey as pleasant as possible regardless of your situation or the forecasted outcome... You will love Annie, the receptionist and his staff as well..

Pleasant, Professional and Patient seems to be the theme permeating this office. But I was seen first by his P.A. or Nurse Practitioner, Annie, who conducted an initial in-depth assessment, thoroughly reviewing my situation and history and asking pertinent questions. AND she was, unsurprisingly, pleasant, professional and patient. Having been aware of Dr. Chizner's training and accomplishments I expected to be a bit intimidated, but despite the white-coat-syndrome-on-steroids with all the pros in their white coats, I was comfortable with him from the start. It was interesting to see the teaching that was going on as he conducted his assessment and it was clear that he has great rapport with his students as he frequently made eye contact with them to highlight a point or observation. The bottom line is that virtually immediately he identified the likely cause of my complaints which have persisted for years. No tests, no labs, no scans. Just simply his inquiry into my symptoms and history. This after the previous usual suspects of echo's, ekgs and so on having been inflicted on me which provided no guidance into explaining my situation. I'd be remiss if I didn't recognize Alicia, the young lady at the front desk who also fields the phone calls. She is, you guessed it, very pleasant, patient and professional at what she does AND helpful. I should also mention that there was never any hint of any time constraints.

Hearing that our father needed open heart surgery on all 5 arteries blocked 99% was scary to say…read morethe least. And not knowing the doctor who was performing the surgery was extremely stressful. Dr Galindez was going to do the surgery and we just had to pray that he was our guy. We are a tough crowd to please with half of the siblings and cousins doctors or in the medical field. But rest assured if Dr. Galindez is operating on your loved one. He is an skilled surgeon who made everyone feel comfortable, most importantly our father. He was kind and caring, even taking the time to speak to our cousin a cardiac surgeon in Arizona. My dad who does not do well with pain had NO pain even the same day as surgery. He found Dr. Galindez and the nursing care at Delray hospital sensational. Special thanks to the patient nurses especially Corey and Nicole and Deborah (our father is a piece of work...) and Dr. Vafai, dad's cardiologist that recommended Dr. Galindez. If you need open heart surgery in South Florida please do not hesitate to choose Dr. Neil Galindez at Delray Hospital. And thank you Delray Hospital for being a great Hospital. The staff in general are kind and caring. Respectfully, Dr. Alisa, Dr. Stuart, Michael, Nathan, Theda and Deborah Kauffman and most importantly the patient Stanley Kauffman !!
