These were forms to be completed by hand (not digital, old school) and then had to be entered manually by the receptionist. I was a new patient and it would have been nice to have completed these forms online, prior to my visit. My appointment was set for 10:00. I did not get in the back for my triage until 10:30 and did not see the Doctor until after 11:00. They do not use a digital scales or blood pressure machines. Medical devices could use some updating. They required me to have an EKG, even though I expressed that I did not want one. They told me they would not bill my insurance and that it was for internal use only and was required by the Doctor. The examining room had rules on the wall and advertising for allergy testing, with two notices to turn your phone off as well as a referral policy. No artwork. The lobby was also decorated with policies on all the walls. Although, they did have lots of brochures for services and magazines on the waiting area. Now for my visit with Dr. Alvarez... the Doctor had a wonderful bedside manner. He was warm and friendly. Dr. Alvarez gave me a thorough exam and gave me some good medical advice. He spent a fair amount of time with me, I did not feel rushed. I would highly recommend Dr. Alvarez to anyone seeking a solid primary care physician.

When someone is unaware and needs to be educated you do not hang up on them, you correct them. It is common knowledge to say goodbye before ending a call. Just normal manners. Which they have NONE!!! I understand some people have bad days but you don't get a pass to be bad at your job.

She talks to me like a peer & not "I'm the doctor-you're the patient-I'm better than you-listen to me" type of attitude. She is really there to take care of me and my concerns, so I will continue with my annuals with her. She's also not the only friendly face. The rest of the staff I encountered there were helpful and just as nice.

They had a screen so you could watch news and pass the time. Check-in was incredibly fast efficient and friendly. The doctors who utilize it seem to be very good at what they do so I was confident they would take my care of my daughter. I absolutely love their texting updates; I knew when she went back of course but when they were preparing her, in pre-op, surgery post-op, recovery then notify you to pick up your loved one. Receiving those timely texts with updates made it easier to keep family up-to-date. Surgery of any kind is stressful so having a nice calm environment waiting for your loved one was especially nice. Everything went like clockwork. No need to bother the receptionist for information, it was all on your phone! When it came time to pick my daughter up it was a little confusing. Better signage would help but that may be due to the property owner and the ambience they want. What I found the pick up which itself is marked the parking was not adequate. Again, this is up to the property owner. Plus people aren't considerate and even though the sign said patient pick up only people had parked there. Unless they have parking lot security there's not much they can do about that. I trusted them with my child, that should tell you everything you need to know. Again, surgery isn't like going to a restaurant but if you have to choose somewhere, I would choose to trust them with her outpatient care again.

He hates the dentist. I remember when my doctor did the surgery she told me that I would hate my life for a week. She was right. I have been coming to this office for YEARS, And every single time I say the same thing -I am so happy I found this practice . Everyone is amazingly kind , its almost like one big family. It's the same faces for years which is rare with doctors offices . Being a diabetic I have been to many different offices so I notice these things , by far this is my favorite . I have been seeing Jenna for years , I feel so comfortable speaking to her . She is kind and understanding. I saw Brooke Laine once and she was also amazing . The staff is always on point , always so nice and always smiling . Thank you guys for always having a positive attitude , it does not go unnoticed .

So I gave up and called for appointment and somebody answered and I cancelled my scheduled appointment.
