Only giving 4 stars because their appointment scheduling system is HORRIBLE. Took me almost 3 months of calling to get a live person on the phone to schedule. You literally wait on hold like 20-30 mins with an automated system when you call for an appointment. Crazy thing is, when I went to my appointment the staff behind the counter were literally doing nothing so not sure why the appointment lines take so long to answer. Other than that everything was great! I was very skeptical from all the negative reviews but due to an insurance change, I kinda had no choice but to use this facility. My review is based off a mammogram appointment. My appointment was at 4:15, I checked in at 4, was greeted at the counter with a smile, filled out a couple forms then was asked to have a seat and wait. I waited maybe 10 mins then was called back. My service took only 10 mins thanks to the efficient radiology technician. Everyone I had contact with was really nice. Not sure why all the bad reviews on customer service. I'm not sure what I can say about a medical building other than they have excellent bedside manners customer service at the front desk is amazing. Everybody is extremely professional. The business is kept extremely clean. I do think the only downside is it seems that some of their imaging devices are a little old and could be updated but other than that this is the place that I choose to have all my imaging done. read more

I had a referral here for IUD placement to check if it was still correctly placed. They let a student take my images and had a hard time taking the images. After receiving the images they said my placement was good. After getting a referral to a GYNO, they said it was out of place two weeks later. Unprofessional, lack of attention and care. Do better, this is people's health on the line. read more

The girls were nice at the counter it was quick guy was nice who took me back it was the tightest coffin like MRI box I've ever been in and OMG it was so loud bumpy and hot inside. I actually pushed the button right at the beginning to get out be done then he gave me ear plugs and little pillows I was like ok thankssss then right into the torture chamber Never again. Went to DRI bc Kaiser didn't cover my imaging and would charge me $1k. DRI charged me $550 only. Overall had a pretty good experience here. I tried to call multiple times yesterday to make an appt, but since it was a Mon, couldn't get through (called 5x, was on hold for a total of at least 40min). Tried to fax my referral & same, "no answer". Today I called at 11:30am, was connected within 5min, was told there is an opening same day at 1:30pm or 3:30pm. I wanted the 1:30 at Sac location, but I had to fast for 4hrs before & I ate at 11. So I did the 3:30pm at Elk Grove location. The traffic to get here from Citrus Heights was terrible so I got there around 3:10 instead of 3. Note: the sign for this place is TINY. I had trouble finding it- but it is the building near the Trinity urgent care & Signature Dentistry, just keep your eyes peeled for a tiny sign. At DRI, I was called up & processed quickly and had been helped by an imaging tech/ tech student by 3:30pm. The imaging process was a bit painful, but the tech & the radiologist Dr. Amil K. asked multiple times if I was ok (actually asked me a bit too much, but I think it's bc I winced multiple times). The radiologist explained the procedure and afterwards, asked if I had any questions. Was able to see my image right away, got the interpretation from the radiologist right away, and the report was faxed to my doctor within an hour. 5 stars for the actual imaging & availability, but deducted 1 for the terrible signage (I was so lost circling around that parking lot) & for not being able to get through to anyone yesterday. read more

I've had an urgent chest x ray done to see if I had pneumonia. DRI has had the x ray for a week and have not released it to my primary bc their radiologist has not viewed it. This was marked urgent and it has not done anything with it. read more

Took my mom here for an appointment and they were very busy! We showed up about 45 minutes early, signed in and sat down. They called us up to fill out paperwork and then we were seen pretty quick. I'd say we were in and out in 35-40 minutes. They have seats spaced out and the first question they ask guests is if they tested positive for Covid. Overall not a bad experience! read more

Wow! I am really surprised by all of the bad reviews. My experience with DRI was amazing. They called me and made an appointment as requested by my urologist. They gave me clear and concise directions and they gave me a courtesy phone call to remind me of my appointment and go over my pre visit instructions again. I arrived a few minutes early to fill out the necessary paper work. The place looked very clean and seating was spaced far enough apart for social distancing. I don't know for sure if it was mandatory but everyone wore masks so I assume it was. Everyone was very kind, professional and helpful. The receptionist that has been described as an "Indian woman" in other reviews was extremely pleasant, personable and helpful. I guess really arriving on time and being a willing participant in the process makes life easier for everyone. I was even able to get my ultrasound done before my actual appointment time. Nothing like prompt service! The technician was also very professional while being personable and very easy to work with. I don't know what else to say. My experience could not have been better. I even have instructions on how to see my results online. I have never had any other imaging center do that and am looking forward to checking them out. read more

I really like this imaging place! The offices and waiting areas were very clean. I had an HSG done here, which is a very sensitive procedure. The dr and nurse took plenty of time to make me feel comfortable and explain the entire procedure to me. They also got the procedure done as quick as possible for my own comfort. I went in there yesterday and when I say these people irritated the mess out of me the lady in the front that answers the phone had the nerve to tell me they were just talking about me and I felt real bad energy coming from her and another lady that looked at me!!! Now the lady that actually did the ultrasound on my breast had the nerve to tell me that the lump was not on my breast it is on my chest so do I still have any concerns and want to get it looked at!!! Like first of all why wouldn't I wanna know what kind of lump is on my body that is not supposed to be there!!! read more

We went to schedule an appointment and went through a BARRAGE of questions by the receptionist. She "required" all of the personal information, insurance etc etc etc. Without attempting to answer a VERY important question for us. Did they have a time slot available. Once we establish they did have a slot available the doctors orders were very specific and the company took upon their own to modify the Doctors orders.. Our Dr. orders CLEARLY state the exact procedure. We were finally able to confirm the contrasting agent we required was available and utilized and the tests were scheduled. The afternoon before the scheduled test the office once again called for more information and during the discussion we discovered the proposed change in the doctors orders. And when questioned about the change the technician indicated " they don't do it that way". So you decide do you want to have your doctor make the call or an imaging center make the call. We are going to follow the Doctors orders and we suggest you do as well. Because of this we were forced to find another imaging center....what a waste of time. Our Doctor is from UCLA not some wing ding off the internet ...I TRUST UCLA understands the correct protocol. read more

I called to scheduled an appointment for my Mom who is limited English proficiency and the first lady is very kind and sweet but I didnt remember her name but after schedulded Tuesday March 23, my Mom need to change to Monday her only day off so I called back and speak to Carol this time. OMG! What an attitude she has! Her voice sounds like she hated her job and cant even speak with a full sentences. Carol told me the first available Monday first week of April. (April 5) and I said ok thats fine after she gave me the date and time she just hung up so fast without me confirming or thanks her before she hung up on me. Just straight up rude and cold in her attitude. But then on the appointment day my Mom came and they asked her if she has been vacinated for Covid and that her apointment is not today is next week April 12. And today I called again to schedule an appt for her Xray and again with the same tone and coldness Carol just told me just walk in they dont take appt for Xray and hung up before I could say anything. Went here almost a year ago for an MRI because the price was so much more reasonable than everywhere else... big mistake. Please don't make the same mistake I did. You pay for what you get!! I was misdiagnosed and sent into a complete tailspin. Luckily I sought help from UC Davis and they helped to sort everything out and promptly redid the MRI's I needed. The staff at UC Davis said the MRI's I had done at DRI were some of the worst they had seen. Wish I could get a refund for the hell they put me through. read more

She called me 3 minutes later to sign paperwork but of course she said I'm late because I was supposed to be here at 9:45am. Front desk personnels at DRI needs to learn how to interact with customer. A few months ago I tried to schedule an appointment after I received a called from DRI that they have approval for the work requested. When I called, they said they need my doctor's referral. I was puzzled! so I have my doctor faxed the referral to number provided by DRI. When I tried to schedule the appointment again. I was told they do not have it. I contacted my doctor's office again, they reassure me that it was faxed. Called DRI back then they they found it. I finally got the work done. None of the 3 ladies at the front desk has a smile. I call today to schedule a CT scan after I received a call from DRI stating that they ready to schedule an appointment. I called. The lady answered the phone asked for my name and date of birth then told me she will check and put me on hold. I held and hung up after 10 minutes. I use DRI because my insurance company would not approve work to be done at UC Davis Medical Labs. Apparently they are doing good business by under cutting other health care provider. By far the most poorly run medical facility I have ever been to. My appointment was at 1:45pm I was told to be here at 1:15pm and arrived on time. The people at the front desk are completely oblivious. I had to go up and tell them I had been there waiting for 16 minutes to even check in. That was at 1:31pm, I gave her all of my information and she apparently did not check me in for another 11 minutes. Meanwhile the head person Jessica is coming out asking for my paperwork. They were attempting to have me fill out the entire thing a second time. I finally get back for my mammogram and am told I would get that done and head over to X-ray. When we got to X-ray I was told I was next in line. Apparently that was not true and I have been sitting here for over 30 minutes in a gown with nothing underneath. A man named JD continues to come over to badger me. Even bringing my paperwork to show me I didn't check in until 1:42pm. Funny considering I finished the first round of paperwork long before that. I finally had to ask him to just leave me alone as he was making me uncomfortable. Multiple people that checked in after me have been brought back to get their X-rays done, while I continue to wait. After speaking to the manager Jessica I was finally allowed to get my exam done. The person the asked to wait a bit longer came in after me but was apologized to as if I was cutting in line. While I was in my exam JD came into the room numerous times. Until I told them to make him stop doing that because it made me uncomfortable. I highly recommend you go somewhere else if you have the option. If I am ever ordered another X-ray I will request to go elsewhere. read more

I made an abdominal ultrasound appointment for my non-English speaking mother after receiving a referral from her doctor. We arrived early as directed. Upon checking-in, I was told there was not an appointment on file. I insisted I made an appointment but they refused to allow my mother to have the ultrasound. The receptionist asked a coworker for help who questioned me and made me feel dumb asking "Are you SURE you made an appointment? Did you call to make an appointment? Who did you call? I don't think you made an appointment." I told her "I called the number I was told to call to make an appointment and they said there were about 3 locations and I chose the Elk Grove location. The lady then said, "Oh... we only have 2 locations.. so you probably didn't make the appointment." I said, "2 or 3 locations, my memory isn't perfect but I know I made the appointment." They said if we wanted to have the ultrasound today, we would have to wait a few hours because they have the referral. I continued to insist we made an appointment, but if we have to, we can wait. After a bit, the receptionist said, "Ohh... you do have an appointment. I was on the wrong date." I wanted to roll my eyes but thanked them and my mother had the ultrasound. What made me upset was their facial expressions, demeaning attitude, and the fact that they didn't apologize at all. Everything else afterwards went smoothly so I'm giving 2 stars. read more

The lobby was filled. I signed in & stood there until I was acknowledged. Finally they said "go ahead & have a seat we will call you shortly." I've seen people come after me, and were given paper work as they arrived. I didn't think much of it. The African American young lady Called me up there finally, to give her my id and insurance. She goes "I need a few minutes to type this" I said "ok." Then she says "you can have s seat while I do this" so I go sit. Calls me again, she finally gives me paperwork to sign & everything I was signing she spelled my name and address wrong... I gave you a good 10 minutes to type this & still wrong.. anyways, gave her back the paper work, then as I stand there the two ladies are talking sh*t about a patient not drinking her water as I'm standing there... like hello, take my paperwork instead of having me sit here listening to you guys gossip! She finally took the clip board.. so I see the few people that came after me going in first!!! So this young lady put me behind all these people! Totally unprofessional & unorganized. read more

Disgusting! No social distancing or sanitizing of the waiting area between stuffing countless patients in. If you are getting an X ray ... prepare to wait for a long time. When I arrived there were only 2 people in front of me, I still waited 90 minutes!!!! Sacramento location is far worse... but both places need better management and to at least try and clean the facility. Went to DRI at Scripps St, Sacrto, said 1 hr wait, "go to Elk Grove, 15 min wait." Went to , Elk Grove, after 1 hr, went to desk, saw list, at top but everyone after got xrayed. Complained, said "sorry, dont know why they didnt call you?" Ya, that makes two of us. Eat first before u go because its a looong wait. My advice, go anywhere else but DRI. read more

Honestly, the customer service was not great and the front reception was not helpful. I just needed to pay a bill that I was getting a call about but was inquiring as to why I was paying the bill to begin with as the payment had already been mailed in. The gal kept referring me to my bill (which I didn't have) and asking when my husband was seen (I have no idea, it's been more than a year this the call) and asking what service was done (lady I have no idea). read more

Very shocked with all of the poor reviews. I expected to have a bad experience given what I read but they were just seamless to work with. I came in for a prenatal ultrasound and they were not only quick (about 25 minutes to get all of the necessary images), the building is spotless, the front desk reception was personable and kind... I could not ask for more than that. We are not finding out the gender so I did not expect to see baby but I was still shown some sweet images of our babies profile and feet. That was very appreciated and my older children loved seeing the images of their sibling that afternoon. If you are looking for a big show, you really need to go to a imaging place that specializes in that. If you just need a ultrasound and a few pictures to take home, this is a great place to come. Their out of pocket rate is very reasonable as well. read more

I went to DRI Elk Grove for a mammogram and was able to get a same day appointment. The technologist was quick, gentle, and knowledgeable. I received my results in just a few day. I loved the quick service and results. Also, the facility looks like a day spa. It is very bright and welcoming. The staff are all pleasant and everyone was smiling. read more

I have had several CT scans and some xrays here and they are top-notch. It is easy to get an appointment, usually within 24-36 hours, and you can also walk in for some tests (xrays). Wait time is never very long, and all of the staff are very nice and helpful. it is also very easy to get them on the phone and they are very responsive to all requests for information and to send copies of reports to doctors' offices, etc. I have had the best medical experiences with them of any I can remember anywhere else. read more
