Let me start off by saying I highly recommend the Diamante Law Group. The immigration case we presented was extremely difficult and challenging. Adding to the complexity of the case we are a same sex couple. I was apprehensive that we would find an attorney that would represent us without bias. My husband had a deportation order that was filed in the Texas court system. Alan worked directly with that jurisdiction to transfer the case to California. I made an appointment to see Mr. Alan Diamante a month in advance. I was told that because he's so "popular and great" there was no earlier time available. During that months I confirmed my appointment at least 3 times. So here I am coming into the office on my date and time, after pushing all of my things aside, having to drive to his office 50 minutes and paying for an expensive parking garage. As I walked in the office I was told that I have to wait to be seen. I asked how long do I have to wait and was told "well all the people that are here in a waiting room came here before you". Mind you, there were like 10 people. So I got confused, I have an appointment, I said. And again was told that all of the people came before me will see the attorney first, and that "it shouldn't be more than an hour". By her tone of voice and by the way she said it it was obvious that that's a normal practice in this office to overbook people and to make them wait. Yikes , but fine, I'm already here I guess.. Okay here I am waiting- 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 1 hour... Asked again how much longer do I have to wait? And again was told until everyone had been seen before me. At that point there were still 6 people left in a waiting room. Not pleasant but I decided to keep waiting for my turn. Another 45 minutes passed and there were still 3 people left. For 1.45 hr I've been sitting here NO ONE came out to apologize even once for such a long wait and that made me think how can they respect my case and my situation if they DON'T RESPECT MY TIME??? I've been to quite a few attorneys by now no one had ever made me wait longer than 15 minutes for an appointment. It is extremely UNPROFESSIONAL for any business to have people make appointments way in advance and still make them wait for over 2 hours to be seen. NO APOLOGIES, NO EXPLANATIONS why there was such long of a wait. People in the waiting room were getting frustrated and annoyed , still no apologies no explanations were ever given. I had other things scheduled for the day so I had to leave before I was even seen by an attorney almost TWO HOURS AFTER I CAME IN. This was the biggest waste of my time and money. People, THINK TWICE- if this law firm doesn't respect your time at all, how can they respect your immigration case? And this was supposed to be a paid consultation... They really need to learn to respect other people's times and lives, oh wait, I thought this was the foundation of an attorney's job? Smh ... read more

I am surprise he only has two reviews because he is the best immigration lawyer I have ever encountered. I have gone to Allan Diamante a few times for my husbands case and other family members that he has helped over the years. Very honest lawyer if he is able to help you he will provide options but if there is nothing to do he will also let you know. Will not give false hope just to get your money like other lawyers I have encountered. I do want to share a specific case that I hold very close to my heart with a lot of gratitude towards him. My husband was detained by ICE because his working permit application was denied and even though we had open a motion to reopen the case with another lawyer my husband had gone too. Once the application was denied he didn't have any type of protections and so 4am ICE was knocking at my door and they took my husband. Needless to say this was an awful, frightening experience for my family in anguish I looked for the other lawyer who didn't do much for us and in desperation I made a same day appointment with Alan who is a bit pricy for me but it was the best investment I have made til this day. He gave me the name of the person who to contact in ICE and he stated I could do this for you and charge for it but you are capable of doing it yourself, explain the situation just as you have done it with me and your husband will be out soon. There is a way to be direct and concrete, but he lacks personal skills. He doesn't know how to relate to people situations. He has no ability to connect with people.
