So, as you're driving down the I-5 and looking for a place to get delicious sandwiches, this is the perfect spot! And, while you're there, stock up on wide variety of handcrafted sausages, brats, beef sticks, bacon, marinated meats, dry rubs and more! We brought an insulated bag with ice packs to put them in. We grabbed some for family we were visiting in Sacramento and stopped again on our way back home to stock up. We tried the Brisket and Ribeye sandwiches. The bread got soft fast, maybe a little too soft. They were both hot sandwiches so not sure if it was from a little too much bbq sauce, juices from the meat or how it's wrapped. The brisket and ribeye were tender and juicy. I liked the Ribeye a little more since it had mushrooms, bell peppers and onion. I would have liked the bread to be more toasty since we ate the sandwiches there. But, that's my preference; I love more texture in my food. Loved the variety of sausages, brats and beef sticks that we got. The bacon was a lot thinner than we're used to. We bought lots of their dry Wolfsen's seasoning since it's one of my bf's favorites! I loved that the beef sticks that weren't too oily and very tasty. I wish we had gotten more of them! The sausages were so flavorful!! We tried them in a variety of dishes. We really liked the Smoked Blueberry Bratwurst, Smoked Andouille Sausage, Smoked Chuckwagon sausage, Cajun Style Smoked Sausage and Smoked German Pork Sausage.

This place is like a condensed Panda Express, with chow mein, fried rice, orange chicken, kung pow chicken, and broccoli beef as their mains. There are egg rolls and chicken wings as well as a variety of boba drinks. You can order plates (one entree + two sides) or you can even order catering. We ordered: - Plate of chow mein with double orange chicken - Taro and mango smoothies with boba/mango popping, respectively The SO is a chow mein faithful. Unfortunately, this version was not up to par (compared to PandEx). He also said the orange chicken was only OK and very saucy/less meaty. I tried a bit of both and was underwhelmed. The drinks we had were great! Boba had a good chew. Service is really nice! They do move like concrete, though. Currently, if you purchase a plate, you can either get a bottle of water or a toy (I suppose for the kiddos). We got both LOL! Overall, glad Good Times now has opps because they're terrible, but this Chinese food place is only slightly better than them. He told me the location I said no not that one. The last time it was disgusting. He told me just go and see for myself and I did. I kid you not I will be a loyal customer. It was a big Improvement very big Improvement! A good selection of meat at a low price as well as a Cantina. I said hot damn Sam! Now the only gripe I have about the store is the Cantina closes at 6 p.m. I say to myself why when half of Newman residence work in the Bay Area and don't return home until 6- 630 p.m.

Market Review. Saw a…read moreline when we came in. Took us a minute to realize it was the line for the cooked food (next time stop!) There was no line at the carneceria and the butcher was quick to help us when we went up to the meat counter. Carneceria Meats Purchased: Short-ribs, Carne Asada (marinated) I know that you can't control how fatty the ribs are at times but they gave us very good pieces of short-ribs where we didn't have to trim them too much nor did we have to throw pieces away due to the fat. Asada was average price ($16.99) but it was very good Their tomatillo salsa was so good. Perfectly spicy. Their chicharrones were also a hit. I was able to pick up every thing we needed for a quick BBQ. Tortillas, tomatoes, beer...it was nice to have a market so small, have it all. Def will be back.
