This gas station is competitively priced against the other gas stations in the area, but they also have a Yogurt shop inside its main area. There are many pumps available and the machines are very easy to use. There is a lot of room to park, if needed..compared to other areas that are so cramped up. Only reason it lost a star is because of its location. Though conveniently located if you are going east...if you are going west, it would be much more difficult to get to. In addition, making the turn out of the gas station to get on I895S is a very short merge lane.

The fries were good without dipping sauce. The wings were pretty good; they weren't fried crispy as requested, and I only tasted a hint of lemon pepper--definitely a sweeter sauce flavor. Overall, good tasting food here!! I hope you'll encounter Nina; she patiently answered my questions, aware that it was my first visit, and she offered for me to sample the TLC sauce ( house-made, mayo-based aioli). Great customer service! Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. I'd make the drive again for this meal!

It was refreshing to walk into a small town shop that is not run by global corporate giants who have never heard of the town or met the people who call it home. It reminded me of my childhood of going to the local grocer or hardware store. They do have a decent selection of items from produce to meat, and all of the dry goods you may need, but as a small independent grocer, the selection is not as large as your chain stores. We were able to find everything we wanted and needed. The cost per item was higher than other retailers as to be expected since they cannot purchase in the quantity the big box people do. But, what I spent extra at this IGA was easily saved in fuel costs of making the drive to Gainesville. We were greeted when we walked inside the door and every staff member we met was friendly and helpful during our shopping trip. If we lived locally, I could see us making this a stop for those small shopping trips or one-off needs and visiting frequently. When in the area and finding ourselves in need of forgotten items, we will be returning.
