This location is pretty okay. I don't particularly like it very much since this area attracts the "stranger" characters. I mean. It is near a major hospital so why not? The staff here is decently friendly enough, but nothing too wowing. I've experienced a couple of really friendly encounters, but I hardly visit here anymore to keep up with the staff. And I might be a bit strange in writing this, but the lighting at this location is too bright! I'm not one of those strange folks who goes around noticing the oddest thing, but I'm sitting here pondering why I would rather visit the Oakwood location versus this one. One of the reasons is because of lighting. I guess I like a homely (not particularly dim) atmosphere with just the right balance of lighting. Overall, this is an okay location. There's always a constant stream of people coming in and out. I guess with it being near a juvenile holding facility and being semi near the more dilapidated area of Gainesville (masked behind the prettier business buildings, firehouse, & restaurants) that the strange folks do frequent here. read more

This pharmacy needs a better system for letting slow customers in the drive thru line move out the way. It always takes me less than 2 minutes to pick up my meds, but there's always 2-3 people that take forever! They should not be allowed to hold up the line. Ridiculous. read more

I've waited over 45 minutes in the drive thru before. The techs are very nice but this location is not fast at all whatsoever.

Every time u come to this store , you gotta wait 30 minutes to get meds.. The pharmacist always says they just received order.. which is a lie!! I make sure it's called In before I leave dr office, and I wait 30 minutes to get filled! Show up and wait another 30 minutes.. Horrible customer service. read more

Super busy downtown location. Fantastic manager and staff. Reggie who staffs the front checkout is the best checkout person I've seen in the company. She is always friendly and sports a smile to whoever walks in the door. The store just went through a major remodel to refresh the entire sales floor, restrooms and pharmacy. Maybe it was just a bad day, but this visit for me was not positive. The four employees in the pharmacy ignored me for at least 10 minutes while chatting on their cell phones. When another customer came to the register they were served before I was as I stood right next to them. Then anther customer came and the same thing happened. read more

WORST CVS IN TOWN! If you want to wait 5+ hours for your medicine to be filled this is the pharmacy for you. I had surgery back in august and I was about an hour away from the nearest CVS ( so CVS had a little over an hour to fill my pain medicine ) well when we got there they told us we had to wait 45min we waited...and again they told us to give them 30min. Mind you I was in pain!!!!! Took them 3 hours. Same thing happen to my husband today. Doctor called in the pain pills for my husband wisdom teeth removal. So I gave them 45 min. None of the pills were ready. I went back home to give them anther hour. I called and they told me something was wrong with there system but they would get the pills filled in and make us priority. Well I called back 2 hrs later and they said it still wasn't filled but it was being moved to the front of the line. I was upset because at this point my husband was in legit pain. Well My husband went and they told him they never received the call from his doctor for those pills to be filled. They called those pills in at 9:30am and by 3pm they never received those orders but they told me a whole different story. IM done with this CVS location. I refuse to ever step foot in there again. And this is just two examples this has happen to my family multiple times. They don't care if there clients are in pain they take there sweet time to fill medicine. If they know they are high traffic area they need to hire more personal. !!! IM FILING AN OFFICIAL COMPLAINT. read more

If I could give this pharmacy a negative rating I would. I was told it would be 20 mins to fill my prescription. I left and ran across to town to pick up some food. Came back 40 minutes later and was told it wasn't ready yet and that it would be another 20-40 minutes. I asked if I could just get my script back and take it somewhere else. At that point they said give them 15 minutes and they will be ready. I waited 20 minutes and again approached the counter and it still wasn't ready. If they would have been honest up front about the wait time I would have no issue. I would simply take my business somewhere else. Instead, they lied and just went with the pre recorded script. It took them an hour and a half to fill a very basic prescription. read more

If I could give this pharmacy -6 stars I would. Every single time I come to this pharmacy to get a prescription, there is always some sort of problem. Either they lost my prescription, never filled it, filled it at a different location, etc. Not to mention I always have to wait forever in the drive thru. All of the pharmacy techs are super rude and always have a horrible attitude towards the customers. I'm finally switching to a new pharmacy because I can't handle going there anymore. This pharmacy was super helpful. Post surgery in Atlanta (hour away) and after searching for a pharmacy that was open and had the pain medicine to fill the Dr prescription was so stress relieving after a long day in hospital. The service was quick and precise. Sam was an amazing help with answering questions and getting the prescription filled in a quick and timely manner. She went above and beyond and did everything she could do to help me. I would highly recommend this pharmacy for all your medical needs. This is the slowest Pharmacy in filling Rx. They fail to use all the Insurance you have when filing for your insurance. Maybe it is easier just asking for co-pay. Please use all my instance first...I pay good money on those premiums and they need to be applied first. The other services within this CVS is ok. The Pharmacy is the problem. read more

Came after midnight after being at the ER with my daughter who was in sever pain bc of kidney stones. I also needed to use the restroom. When the pharmacist finally came to serve me I asked where is the restroom? She said it's closed at 11pm. We dropped off the scripts then got something to drink we went to pay for it and asked the cashier who was not very friendly if the restrooms were really closed. He said yep there is a kangaroo open up the street. How can you close the restroom. Is that even legal? How horrible to make you're customers hold it. Especially if they have kidney issues. I wish there were more 24 hour CVS Stores open in my area. So frustrating!! read more

Avoid this pharmacy. Take your pharmacy needs anywhere but here. They have taken on 100s of new customers without adding any staff. The result is that you will wait in line either inside at the counter or outside at the drivethrough for a much much longer time that you once did. The staff are pleasant, but there are not enough of them to meet even the lowest standards for serving their paying customers. Great decision, managers, and thanks for letting us know of your decision to downgrade service here. For you, a one star rating is being generous. I know when a business does not care about my time or convenience, and I always tell them and take my business elsewhere. I will do so in the next day or two. read more

ive never had a problem with cvs until now, they have not only given me the wrong medication, but its not even under my name. unacceptable

Always slow!!! Unless you come by after dark there is a line at the drive thru as well as at the pharmacy inside. They desperately need to hire more people or fix whatever is making it slow. read more
