It's in the middle of July and extremely hot, keep in mind he is an adult fluffy Maine Coon breed cat, so we felt terrible he was so anxious and we were just trying to keep him cool. By GRACE of the angels, We went by Ruff House where we have gone to groom our dog before and DENISE was SO incredibly calming, reassuring, and helped out in a pinch!!! Especially to my mom, she even knew her by name as well as our pets!! Now that's 1,000 star customer service. She is the SWEETEST lady and her team just loves ours and others animals and you can tell. Not to mention she trimmed his matted belly with a couple helpers in RECORD time! And everyone left so happy! Her and her team are the absolute best in the area and we must put our trust into employees that are animal lovers and not just there for your money but because they love what they do and they care for their life, because these are our fur babies we love. She has been and IS an absolutely darling and a life saver! Not to mention everytime our dog gets a bath there she has the prettiest bows on her collar and she's happy she feels clean and fancy! Not only did she help out today, but she also recommended another Vet after our experience that is known for taking VERY good care of animals so we will now be going there for all of our pets shots, any health concerns, or anything or that matter, and I couldn't be more happy or feel more safe! The team gave me a two to three hour estimate and advised they would call me when he was ready. They hit the timing dead on at two hours. He was beautiful, as well as nicely trimmed claws, including his dew claw. I could not have asked for better service. Fur Sure is now my pet groomer of choice.

Other grooming places we've tried in the past never seemed to get her truly clean (Nala does not like water), but Janese exceeded all expectations. When my wife saw Nala after the appointment, she was amazed. Nala looked and smelled fresh. For the second visit, our Frenchie, Reese, needed a good grooming session. Janese did an incredible job. My dog would come home and hide under the bed for the rest of the day. Becca works on one client at a time and lets me know 15 minutes before our dog is finished so we can be there to pick him up as soon as he's done. She doesn't cage him and he has absolutely no after grooming stress! Becca is the greatest!

After losing our rat terrier, Frank to cancer our 14 year old chihuahua, Frida seemed lonely so we…read morestarted looking for a new friend for her. We found a Chi/ pug mix at the Humane Society of Jamestown and made an appt for a Saturday when we both would be off work. Frida and "Tango" seemed to hit it off immediately at the greeting. They played well and it seemed like a great fit. The facility was impressive and the girl who brought "Tango" in for the meet and greet was sweet. We went to lunch and talked about it and decided to take him home. They said we could foster for a month to decide. We filled out the application for that and took him home to Modesto. "Tango" turned out to be full of energy and Frida being older had a hard time adjusting. We did everything we could to monitor them together and they seemed to work it out on their own. On the site, before even contacting them, he was 3. As we had him longer, it became apparent that he was younger. Luckily Frida is quite tolerant and they play well even though "Tango" wants to rough house a lot. My biggest concerns: They never asked to see pics of our home/ yard. We seemed to have the opposite experience than most of the others that reviewed. They handed him over almost too easily. They didn't check on him for over 2 weeks. When they finally called i brought up his age, they said they'd look at his file and that he was 1.5 years. I had seen another dog on their site that interested us, and asked about him and the girl rudely asked "so you may want to bring back "Tango" and try "Chico"? and I said we could possibly want to adopt them both. She said "Chico" had a leg issue and was going to see a specialist. I said I'd like to know the outcome. Her general attitude was put-out at best. We decided to keep "Tango" and he is now called Lanegan. I called them about 5 days before the 30 day foster was up to pay his adoption fee and was never asked one question about how he has doing, how they get along. Nothing!!! I found that really sad that they cared so little about his well being and adjustment to our home. Just and over all strange experience. We are happy with Lanegan and Frida seems to enjoy having a new friend around.
