After having such a negative experience at a specific vet I have mentioned previously on my yelp in Twain Harte, followed by a negative experience today at the same exact vet my mom had, we were unserviced, upset, and DESPERATE to get our poor kitty taken care of with his shots, and his belly shaved because his long coat gets matted even brushing him all day it just does he's a big fluffy boy lol. It's in the middle of July and extremely hot, keep in mind he is an adult fluffy Maine Coon breed cat, so we felt terrible he was so anxious and we were just trying to keep him cool. By GRACE of the angels, We went by Ruff House where we have gone to groom our dog before and DENISE was SO incredibly calming, reassuring, and helped out in a pinch!!! Especially to my mom, she even knew her by name as well as our pets!! Now that's 1,000 star customer service. She is the SWEETEST lady and her team just loves ours and others animals and you can tell. Not to mention she trimmed his matted belly with a couple helpers in RECORD time! And everyone left so happy! Her and her team are the absolute best in the area and we must put our trust into employees that are animal lovers and not just there for your money but because they love what they do and they care for their life, because these are our fur babies we love. She has been and IS an absolutely darling and a life saver! Not to mention everytime our dog gets a bath there she has the prettiest bows on her collar and she's happy she feels clean and fancy! Not only did she help out today, but she also recommended another Vet after our experience that is known for taking VERY good care of animals so we will now be going there for all of our pets shots, any health concerns, or anything or that matter, and I couldn't be more happy or feel more safe! I had a great experience! Not only is the staff very inviting and friendly but also very skilled. I have an American Eskimo dog and his hair can be hard to cut since it can't be cut too short or you see his pink skin. I've had issues getting him cut in the past. But they understood my concerns and cut him just right. I requested as short as we can go for his coat for summer and cut to look like a lion just for funsies. He came out just as I asked and looks amazing! We will definitely be returning here :) read more

We lost our previous groomer/boarder earlier this year due to health problems and had such a hard time finding a replacement. Our dog is an elderly, blind and deaf cocker, so quite a few of the local groomers didn't want to take on our pup with his "issues." He just has very sensitive feet and ears and needs plenty of patience with breaks in between stages of the grooming. We hit the Mother Lode when we were recommended to check out the Ruff House! Denise and her gang were so reassuring from the start and let us know exactly what would be going on with our dog. We were not disappointed. When we picked up MoeMoe later that afternoon, he was a completely different dog--he looked fabulous, was relaxed and calm, and obviously felt so much better getting his nails trimmed and all that excess fur removed.
