Her power was restored fairly quickly, but her internet was not restored until Sunday mid-morning. My mother works from home and, because of this, was forced to use two days of PTO. That may not matter to them, but it matters greatly to her. She lives on a fixed income and also helps care for her elderly veteran father who has Alzheimer's, so every day of PTO is extremely valuable. I called Jody, one of the owners, to ask about reimbursing her for the time she lost from work. He refused and claimed this is simply a risk when right-of-ways are being cleared. When I asked if they were licensed and insured, he said yes, but also said that "isn't what that's for." When I explained the impact this had on my mother and told him I would be leaving reviews so others were aware of the risk, he laughed and hung up on me. Accidents happen, but how a business handles them says everything. In my opinion, this company showed no accountability, no professionalism, and no concern for the hardship they caused. Be very careful before allowing them near your property or utilities.

We had an emergency and they came out at 9pm on a SUNDAY! It wasn't a tree we needed removed, it was a tree we needed climbed to rescue our parrot. They were all super nice on the phone, and they are good people that wanted to help us. AND THEY DID! A1 Tree Service went above and beyond the call of duty; I watched a man climb 70 feet up a pine tree, to the TOP, at 9:30pm and rescue our parrot. They even brought a cherry picker in case it was needed. Their slogan ends with "for a price you can't beat." I know that to be true as well. We will be using them again in the future.
