Decided to hire them because neighbors had an ok experience with them and because our other neighbors who we were splitting one side of the fence with wanted to hire them. From the beginning the contact with Todd one of the owners was very unprofessional. He never contacted my husband nor I about when they would be starting the job. We heard all of the details from the other neighbor, I don't know if he was more responsive with him because they were paying him more or what but regardless we were also paying him and deserved the same type of customer service. Fast forward to Monday, the neighbor texted me and said they were here to lay out the fence, was I home. If we would have known they were coming to do that my husband would have arranged to be there. I laid it out with him and thought things were good. We agreed on the 6 foot privacy fence for the one side and a cross buck fence with wire for the back. They said they would be here "bright and early" Tuesday morning. They showed up close to noon to start the job, which is fine we weren't in any big hurry for the fence to go in. We come home Later Tuesday to see the cross buck fence is set up for a gate, we never requested a gate, when my husband asked him to fix it he said we would have to pay $100. My husband said no and we will end our business with them right now. Todd agreed to fix it. Wednesday we get home to find that the cross buck fence is basically Done backwards, the posts are on the outside and the wire on the inside, we requested they fix it and the other owner Thor was extremely rude to my husband and told him they wouldn't be fixing it. We told them we would pay the remaining balance once the fence was fixed. Fast forward a few hours and several texts from the owner requesting payment and then the cops arrive. They told the officer they would Fix the fence for another $300. The officer suggested we just pay them what we owe them and be done with them because they are obviously crooks and bad business people and to just hire a reputable company to fix the fence so that's that we did. Also they tried to get our neighbors to pay them to move there fence up to "accommodate" ours which absolutely didn't need to be done, they just wanted more Money. I know this is a long review but I hope it makes people think twice about hiring these people. Their prices aren't any better than other company's around.

I recently had Summit Fence repair and replace a large section of our aluminum fencing after a huge…read moreoak tree came down and destroyed about 30% of it. We needed to swap out damaged panels and fully replace others for 70 feet of fencing, including one 4' wide single gate. The final result is a clean, professional install using the standard 4'H Aluminum Smooth Top - 3-Rail panel style, and it looks excellent. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Amanda was fantastic; she stayed in constant touch, gave clear information at every step, and kept everything wonderfully organized. She made what could have been a stressful project feel smooth and effortless. Carlos was equally impressive. He came out to personally determine the action plan and immediately gave me confidence that he would personally do a great job. He's extremely knowledgeable, listened carefully to what we needed, and followed through on everything he said he would do and then some! His crew worked efficiently and produced high-quality work. There are many fence companies out there, but Summit Fence was the only one that genuinely made me feel like they understood exactly what needed to happen and had the capability and care to do it properly. Jacob was on time to the appointment, friendly, and took his time assessing our needs. I was genuinely looking forward to working with them, but unfortunately, fate had other plans. Jacob was unable to get back to me in a timely manner due to personal reasons. In the meantime, I decided to sign with another company to complete the work I need on my property. I was disappointed that I hadn't heard back from Jacob, so I left a review here expressing that disappointment. Almost immediately upon submitting my review, the owner responded. A short time later, Jacob called to explain why he hadn't gotten back to me and apologized for having dropped the ball. While I cannot speak to the quality of their work because I did not end up hiring them, I am changing my review because I feel like the owner and Jacob reaching out despite already having lost me as a customer shows integrity and care that is lacking in many contractor businesses these days. I appreciate that they care, so it is only fair for my review to be updated to reflect that accordingly.
