The tech, John Schmit, showed up at 8:15 AM and determined the logic board on my old (20 years now) opener was pretty much shot. Discussed options and went with a Liftmaster belt drive. He said it would take about an hour, and in 55 minutes, he knocked on the door! John went above and beyond, even programmed my car's touch button! Very, very satisfied with the work, the cost and the service. Couldn't have gone better.

My garage door puller was grinding when I open the door. The door pully on the right side lost tension, cable unwounded off the pulley, two rollers jumped the track. The door looks so bad because it was unlevel and I had to push the door up to get my truck out. My car was parked in the driveway. This was Thursday night at 6:00pm. I researched online the service companies near Chamblee. I choose, Liberty garage services, scheduled an appointment for 9:30am Friday. The tech arrived at 9:15am. He explained what will need to be done and gave me a good estimate. He fixed, adjusted and leveled door in 1 hr. Very professional. He did a great job and greased the cable also. What I most appreciate is their willingness to explain what was going on bc I absolutely have to understand WHY and WHAT is going on...just the way I'm wired. They were able to not only educate me on the broken coil, but showed me the work they performed. Service was relatively quick. I came out my pocket a couple of hundred for a new spring/coil...and their labor, etc. My house is 10 years old and I know my garage door isn't super high end and this is the first work I had to have done on it so I found the price to be reasonable. Then I get charged $2,000 to replace springs, drums, and side brackets on my garage door. But by the time I saw the price on the invoice it was too late to argue. I was originally told springs and drums would be $1,293. Was charged $550 for 2 side brackets which could be purchased for $20 each on amazon. Other issue is Kennesaw Garage Door website has a different phone number than the Yelp listing. And my receipt is from a company called Full House Garage Door. And the service guy wrote in that is a 20 yr warranty.....Good luck with that!!! And to top it off I found 3 screws which he did not replace and had to stop him before he left to make sure he put the door back together. Credit union rejected the credit card purchase for previous scam activity with this company. Had to write a check instead. Probably should have waited for one of the other reputable companies to call back before going with these folks, but it was late, and they were able to come out on short notice. Now I know why.
