I had a molar that had broken to the gum line. Calling all around Evansville no one had any openings until the end of September first of October. They took my information and with in two days I had an appointment. So the day stained for the extraction. Dr Smith was my dentist. He was very professional and explained everything that needed to be done and when it was time all that he was going to do. He was done in under an hour. I also must mention the dental assistant that day was very professional explained everything and helped me with my insurance and getting info from the VA. Absolutely the worst office for dental care, they demand money and kick you out the door!!

I have nothing negative to say about my actual treatment, but dealing with the office staff is a different story. I have the best dental insurance available but they wanted me to pay them 1600$ in advance. Their billing department called me numerous times and demanded me to pay 1600$ over the phone and my appointment was a week away. The nerve of them to call patients weeks before their appointment and demand money. Brooklyn said " our doctors have to get paid " WOW! I suggest that the "doctors " seek a different profession. The lack of caring, compassion and just being professional. I offered to pay 900$ towards the 1600$, but no that wasn't acceptable. I would not recommend this office to anyone. Total bad experience and I was left in tears this morning. I desperately need my teeth repaired, but all I heard was pay us the money. I am left with unfinished work on my teeth. 2 are broken. Had been to this company when they where o the Northside off 1st ave and diamond but once they moved to far Northside off 41 they have become nothing more than an insurance ripoff and overpricing for services rendered waited 7 weeks to get an appointment on day before was instructed to send pics of insurance card and when I asked for possible estimate they couldn't do it and said I needed to call my dental insurance company but I thought that was there job and then called me back and said they couldn't see me what deceptive practices they are doi not even affiliated with the BBB now I know why find other respectable dental professionals rather than this deceptive company read more

Unprofessional and won't keep your appointment that was made months in advance. Don't waste your time, because they'll make you work around their schedules, not yours. They will cancel appointments at a moments notice and you're left to figure it out. Office staff is extremely unprofessional both in person and over the phone. Care received isn't great. They insist you keep coming back for short appointments and paying a co-pay every time. X-rays one appointment, something else the next, then maybe an appointment to actually fill a cavity, then an appointment to clean your teeth. Such a joke! read more

On 10/29/24 I spoke with Wyatt one of the receptionist @ DVDC after speaking with more than 50 different dental offices trying to find anyone that accepted my insurance and could provide me with immediate dentures. After Wyatt going back and forth with the the dentist and pricing my a complete new set of dentures for $2200.00. I was so happy because no one else accepted my insurance. So the following day i drove 90 miles. Smiling all the way. Finally they called me back for the appointment, only to find out Wyatt told the dentist I only needed a repair on my bottom denture. Then I showed the dentist his pricing on the complete set. I also told the dentist I made 100% sure Wyatt understood that I had no bottom denture. Sure the dentist apologized and was going to charge me for the office visit until I made it known I drove over 90 miles for nothing and was not very happy about anything with Diamond Valley Dental Care. I have been a patient of Dr. Smith for several months. He has repaired a broken tooth, filled a cavity, and put a crown on a fractured tooth. I have been pleased with all procedures. Today, I went to Dr. Smith for a crown on another tooth that has fractured. He is always professional and thorough. Crystal assisted Dr. Smith with my procedure. She did an excellent job of explaining the process before we began and the after care. The office staff are helpful and friendly, too. I am not sure why there are 2 bad reviews on here and why people have to tell someone not to ever go there, but they did an amazing job on my teeth and were very kind and concerned with my well being. Unfortunately, I had a couple of cavities that needed filling. Dr. Schindler is great. The technique he uses to administer novacaine totally fools your brain to feel the pain and discomfort from it. Cancelled my appointment and did not tell me. Only found out when I showed up for my appointment. Time to find a new dentist

I would never go to this dentist office ever again. I have six grand sunk into dentures for my husband and still do not have a completed set of dentures for him. We started this process in June and it is nearly Christmas. We have a final appointment set up for the first week of January. This is completely unsatisfactory and unacceptable. She caused my husband so much pain including fumbling a tooth pulling procedure and then left a half pulled tooth in his mouth for two weeks. She burned him with hot wax used to make the mold for the dentures on his chin, lips, and the inside of his mouth. The dental hygienists are worthless and cannot even properly use the technology in the office and cannot provide any good, decent level of care. They ripped his gums and the insides of his mouth apart. Not to mention the dentist called him by the wrong name multiple times on multiple occasions. read more

If you're thinking of going here even for just a minor cleaning: RUN. Quickly. By far the worst, most unprofessional place I've ever had the displeasure of going to for dental work. I went in for a deep cleaning & a filling. The dental tech dropped some type of HORRIBLE BURNING LIQUID INTO MY EYEBALL. An eye I've had multiple surgeries on so it's very sensitive. I had to go stand at the sink & flush my eye out for several minutes, which obviously rinsed all my makeup off. This tech never once apologized, even after I told her how much it burned. She actually laughed! When I went to check out, not only did they not offer me a discount, the dentist then proceeded to laugh in my face as well because I only had makeup on one eye. I explained to her what had just happened. She didn't apologize either. She continued to laugh at me. It was cruel and humiliating. I had spent over a grand there and this is how they treat me? Prior to that appointment I had scheduled another cleaning; when they called to remind me, I told the whole story about how badly I was treated. This person claimed to care and said they would speak to the office manager & get back to me. Guess what? NO CALL BACK! I messaged them on the business's facebook page. NO RESPONSE.
