The top was exactly what I had been searching for and happily agreed to a very over-priced item. When the top arrived it seemed to be too sizes too small. The company refused to make good on the item, stating I must have gained weight in the time it took to arrive. I had to beg for extra lace to alter the top. Once received, shop after shop refused to do the work. Time and time again I was told the lace was too delicate and the material would not withstand alterations as well as the detailed appliques that would need to be removed and re-sewn by hand, not to mention the cost would likely exceed the original purchase price. Every shop suggested buying another lace top in a larger size. My husband heard an ad for Jessie's Bridal on the radio and convinced me to make an appointment. Jessie confirmed my measurements were exactly the same at the time of purchase and felt so badly about what had happened. She smiled and told me not to worry. A week later I returned to try on the top and not only did it fit perfectly, it was impossible to see that any alterations had been made. Not a single stitch was out of place. She made a double hem under my arms and down the sizes. She ever so slightly changed the locations of the appliques and not a single piece of lace was damaged. I have since returned time and time again for both simple and detailed work and have been pleased every time. For those saying her prices are too high... I'm sorry, but you do not understand the difference between someone who hems or takes in clothing vs a dressmaker. Jessie's work speaks for itself and her pricing is both fair and justified.

The bride and her 3 person entourage were escorted to a small dingy dressing room. The consultant would hand us gowns and it was our responsibility to help the bride in/out of gowns. We were told that because of Covid, it was our responsibility to dress the bride. (I am told that other salons do not operate like this.). No reveal for anyone. We did not get any expertise from the consultant regarding the proper silhouette. It was just an assembly line of gowns in and out of the room. It felt like we took a trip to Marshals or Ross to try on wedding dresses!

At the start of the raffle, I observed a blonde staff member quietly place a ticket in front of a bride seated beside me, who showed no reaction. That bride later handed the ticket to her fiancé. At the end of the event, the same staff member returned to announce the honeymoon winner, reading a pre-drawn ticket number. The bride and her mother nudged the fiancé--who hadn't even looked at his ticket--before he finally claimed the prize, awkwardly feigning surprise. It was the same blue ticket placed in front of them at the start. This sequence of events strongly suggests that the outcome was predetermined. It is extremely disappointing to witness such a lack of fairness, integrity, and transparency, especially at an event meant to celebrate such meaningful moments. I am happy for anyone winning an amazing honeymoon - but the fact that it was rigged to gift to someone predetermined soured my experience and trust in attending any future events. Beyond the disappointment in the moment, the implications of this are significant. Many brides came with genuine excitement and invested their time, under the impression that they had a fair chance at the prize. The rigged grand prize not only undermines that trust but also damages the credibility of the organizers and participating vendors. I was not the only witness. For upcoming bridal shows, I will not be attending any run by this company - and I highly advise any brides attending or thinking of it to come in with the expectation that the main prize is likely someone the staff knows or has prearranged with to win.
