I later discovered cracks and chips in the exact areas where the prongs had been holding it. I provided photos of the damaged stone and the empty setting. In addition, I sent a copy of the original appraisal certificate to help resolve the issue, but the store DECLINED to REPLACE the STONE or Offer ANY COMPENSATION. I understand that mistakes can happen, but this was a meaningful piece to me, and damage could have been avoided with proper care.
