I took advantage of their Valentine's day promotion and had a piece of accessory included with my package. The price was reasonable and was able to include styling for my bridesmaids and my mother. Pre-event Consultation: Betty has great attention to details . She asked for vendor contacts and sample work so she can see the style of photography to match the looks. She considers your dress designs and theme as well. The accessories rental are all available at her studio for you to pick and she is flexible and makes great recommendations. A detailed schedule and skin care tips are shared so everyone can get ready for the big day ahead of time. I did not do a trial with Betty but her team pulled through all the looks with ease. Day-of Service: Team arrived before the scheduled time and was set up and ready to go within minutes. The team worked together so transition was smooth. Great tips were given as well as an emergency touch-up kit. She also helped me adjust my dress to make me feel grounded and ready for the hectic day. I had the team come on-site. The travel fee was minimal and I think it's worth the money spent. All the makeup is included, false lashes were included, and airbrushing is available for a small fee. After some persuasion, I agreed to have a makeover done during one of the 'ladies' nights' that a friend of mine had organized. Rachel Renna was the makeup artist that they had hired for the evening. It didn't take long for me to figure out that Rachel is no ordinary makeup artist. She is the next big thing (mark my words). She is one of the most talented artists I have ever come across, and that's including all the encounters I've had with makeup artists throughout my TV career. The thing about Rachel is that she just 'gets' her clients' style. She had one look at me and knew exactly what I would love and what I would hate. Above and beyond that, she handles a brush like no one I've met before. The way she builds, the way she blends, the way she shapes brows... OH MY! It is definitely not the most appealing bridal shop on the market but the outer appearance did not affect my burning desire to find the perfect wedding dress! Faces 顏妝 used to be on East Beaver Creek Road. It is now located inside Shoppes of the Parkway next to Sheraton Parkway Hotel. They are not quite Googleable and they are not on Yelp yet. So I hope this review helps! Connie, the store owner, was very experienced, helpful, easy to work with and super down to earth. My mom really liked her... I think because they can related to each other - the Asian mom thing lol. We actually ended up hiring Connie and her assistant as our hair and make-up artists on the wedding day. They did the hair and make-up for my mom and all my bridesmaids. She followed me the whole entire day making sure I looked fantastic with new hairstyles and make-up every time I changed into something new :) The beautiful wedding dress was love at first sight and I actually bought mine here instead of renting it. For this dress, renting was like $600 (no alterations allowed!), buying was $900 including alterations to fit your size, and Connie will dry clean it for you before you pick it up... so why not :) Their traditional Chinese qipao was also worth buying, and it looked gorgeous on me (alterations also included) ^^ Most bridal studios offer packages where they lend you minimum 3 dresses (usually 1 wedding dress, 1 traditional Chinese qipao, and 1 evening gown). I bought all mine... I know, baller right? hahaha.. I find that your selection is quite limited when you rent... I have more control when I buy my own. Afterall, you want to look your BEST on your wedding day, right girls? :)
