We were on our 4th game of 5 on 5 on this slanted, slippery court with double rims as the Midtown skyline looked over us. We had gone 3-0 and already on wobbly legs but wanted one more to really push ourselves to exhaustion and be WHOOPED. A group of 5 17 year olds showed up and I was lowkey like damn I don't wanna play these little kids for our last game but whatever, they got next. We were going back and forth, and to be fair they were actually pretty good but just too frail to give us any problems. At 5'10 174 lbs, I'm a BIG guard. I'm left handed, but shot a right handed floater fading to my right as I'm trying to get better. If you can hit a weak hand floater on the run you will be tough to stop. I bricked it and this little 17 year old kid goes "that's a TERRIBLE shot" looking at me dead in the eyes. Like bro y'all are losing and you suck why you talking? He woke me up and I started actually trying really hard and lowkey busting their ass... but tbh normally I'm not even that good. It was just one of those days where everything was falling. I hit a 3 and yelled out "THAT'S A LAYUP." I drove hard left, euro stepped and hit a tough finish through 2 and yelled "I"M TOO BIG," while flexing. I switched onto little homie and he took a terrible stepback shot after I turned him 3 times and bricked it. I just whispered to him "I don't even gotta say nothing after that one it speaks for itself" which really pissed him off. Then I hit the game winning 3 and did the Dame wave to him as he walked off the court PISSED as hell. I sat down and then he got the courage to say "STOP TALKING SO MUCH" while he put his hand together to mimic me YAPPING. I almost stood up and said "HOW BOUT U GET WIN?" But then I realized I'm a grown ass man and there is absolutely no reason to be jawing at this little kid on a beautiful Friday in New York City. I just kind of laughed at myself and asked what is wrong with me lol. All in all, these runs were kind of weak and this court is in horrendous condition. It has cute Playhouses, climbers, swings, tunnels, slides, and open space for free play. It's one of my favorites as the play houses are fun for the small children. No restrooms or water features at this playground. Just like almost all the NYC Playgrounds it's well maintained. I visit with friends. I make sure to visit early for my reviews as I don't like a lot of children in my photos. Besides this day I was out early. The playgrounds fill up around 9am. If you have children and are in the neighborhood go visit. This is a really cute atmosphere for children!

This fountain is fun as you can turn on two separate rings of water. The produce a wonderful dance of H2O molecules when turned on at the same time. This is endless entertainment for the little ones. This playground is pretty large, too. It has some fun play structures - for climbing, a slide, a seesaw, and some other balancing structures. There are also some sets of swings and a sand pit. The trees provide much needed shade when the sun is blaring down during the afternoon. We really do enjoy this spot and will continue to visit. It's normally pretty clean, although can get cluttered a bit from old water balloons.

We've been meaning to check out Play Street Museum for a long time and glad we finally did on a…read morerainy day. The space is fairly small, but packed with a lot of different activities for little ones to do. There are five different 1.5-hour sessions per day, and that's just about the perfect amount of time to enjoy the space. They also give you a token to get a little snack before you go, and that and the time checks toward the end made leaving easier for my toddler. Some of the toys of course get a little depleted and mixed around during the play session, but the person on staff came by a few times to try to help reorganize so each play area stayed fun. I was really impressed by how clean and organized the whole place was overall, and it didn't feel overcrowded like other play spaces we have been to. Definitely support this family-run, Black-owned business! In addition to the regular play sessions, there are also events, crafts, and a gift shop to explore.

My favorite thing about this playground is the huge bathroom. The one I used today had three toilets in the ladies room. There's always toilet paper too! There's a drinking fountain and the park is kept clean. It might have been five stars but I find the gate hard to open. You're still sure to find me here with my friends and their kids. It's close to the East River and to home.

Various equipment and swings for the kids to play on. Also a big circular sand box area. Benches and tables for parents to chill at while the kiddos are having fun. Very spacious area loaded with jungle gym equipment to keep the kids strong and healthy. Well maintained and clean. There is also a shallow wading pool/sprinkler section for use during the hot summer weather.
