Arriving at the boat, on choppy waters, we managed to board and wait the arrival of the rest of the holiday makers. A real mixture of races, religions and creeds. By the end of the day be were all friends. This shows that it is the politicians making the problems. We set off and, as I have said, it was choppy and my partner was 'slightly' ill. One of the crew, a youngish guy was concerned came over and offered sickness pills. He saved the trip for us. Stopping off at various bays for a refreshing swim leading up to a fantastic lunch with a choice of chicken or trout. With various very fresh salads. Drinks, on board, were a very reasonable price. After this lunch we set off again to various other bays for swimming. Throughout the trip the crew made sure everyone had a good time and at one point, a cold water bay, poured water over people that were unsure about taking a dip. I was first in and, wow, it was cold cold cold. A great day out, thanks to everyone in the crew, especially the young guy that helped out my partner. A true gentleman.

The food is very good and he takes into account the needs of his passengers. Recently we took a trip with a good friend who is wheelchair bound and it was no trouble at all. We all had a great day. If we ask him to concentrate on fishing, then he really tries his best in order for the fishermen to have the best chance of a catch.

I forgot the man's name who got us a wonderful breakfast every morning, but he was amazing as well. This hotel is tucked away right off the main path and beach, and is a little peace of serenity and quiet in bustling/lively Ölü Deniz. The rooms are large enough for two people, are equipped with a mini fridge, and overlook an incredibly landscaped and stunningly decorated pool area. Seriously, the outdoor living spaces are a thing of beauty! The town of Ölü Deniz was too busy and touristy for me, but I loved every peaceful, quiet minute I spent at the hotel. Thanks to Jade Reaidence for making our stay in Turkey wonderful!

The manager is very hands on and accommodating to all our needs. Word of caution: no kiddies allowed. We pay about $100 a night. The room was comfortable and clean, with a balcony overlooking the garden and air con that kept everything cool! Mini bar too, which was handy :) Breakfast in the morning was amazing - fruit, pastries, bread, eggs, olives and more, with omelettes cooked on request. It was set out by the pool so really a blissful way to start the day. There were plenty of spaces around the pool and the sun loungers were lovely - you could relax in the garden too, which was perfectly kept. It was such a quiet hotel too that you can properly unwind. Getting into gocek was nice and easy - a 10 minute walk or a quick ride in on the bikes (free to hire). The owner was lovely too, he gave me a lift to the beach one day, so hospitable. Can't rate this place highly enough, hope to return

We found and booked this hotel via booking.com, when we were already in Turkey and had decided to…read morego to Patara. We booked our five nights just two days in advance. Shortly after booking we I received an email from the hotel manager Mohammed, to tell me that he had put us in one of the slightly bigger rooms with a nice view. What a nice gesture. the room was indeed very spacious, including a terrace. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was also clean and the room service every two days did a great job. The interiors will need a make over in the near future, but for now are still fine. Extra towels for the pool or beach were provided as well. The breakfast was very good too. A variety of breads, jams, olives, cheeses, sausage, müsli, yoghurt, honey, fruits and eggs. One day they were out of boiled eggs when we arrived, so Mohammed the manager immediately offered us an omelet. I had cheese and onion omelet and it was the best I had during all our time in Turkey (his mom is in the kitchen). He was also very helpful when we needed information on what we could do in and around the area, besides going to Patara Beach. He told us about Kaputas beach, nearby sand dunes and a beach where we were the only ones around and many more. The hotel pool was very clean and equipped with boogie boards and children's swimming aids. The hotel also offered a BBQ every other night. We never made it or had eaten before, but we're having a drink there one night when they had the BBQ. They sent us some of the starters so we could try and they were delicious. The same can be said about the dinner we had one night at the hotel (köfte and shrimp casserole). We really enjoyed our stay at the Pataros hotel and the hospitality of the place was fantastic. We would definitely come back and can recommend the place.

The check in was great, and the reception staff were friendly and welcoming. We were assigned a side ocean view room with a balcony. The room was clean, new looking, functional, and comfortable. The drinks (water, beer, and soft drinks) in the refrigerator were also included. We also soon later discovered the HOUSEKEEPING was top notch. Regarding the food, it was excellent. We enjoyed all of the meals and robust buffet options. The food service staff was impeccable especially HAYRETTIN, who also provided service at the pool bar. For lunch, one of our servers was YIGIT. He also did a fantastic job for us. Speaking of the pool areas, they were spotless. The pools themselves were clean and refreshing. We didn't have any issues getting chairs. The pool/yoga/fitness activity staff member, OGZI, was great. She did a fabulous job getting people to participate in yoga and pool based fitness activities. We also appreciated the proximity to the beach and boardwalk. Sundia also offered diverse nightly entertainment that we enjoyed. The concert area was large, organized, with table drink service was available. The servers worked very hard each night. Regarding check out, it was smooth, and the staff was helpful with weighing luggage and calling a taxi for us. My only recommendations would be to move the towel area from the spa to the pool area. It's a little inconvenient to walk through the building and into the spa wet to change out towels. In addition, it would be nice if a basic bar could be placed on the beach, if allowed by local law. In closing, we had a fantastic time at Sundia, and I highly recommend it!

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! This has been one of the…read moreworst hotel experiences of my life! I stayed for a bit and initially liked it, so I extended my stay. that was where I went horribly wrong. The hotel manager - i think his name is Yavus - booked me for the extension and was EXTREMELY rude. I really should have cursed him out and walked out then. A few days later, he insisted I change rooms immediately because my room needed to be painted. I was starving and on my way to lunch, but again, I said nothing. The toilet in the new room was disgusting. I asked that the staff clean the toilet. When I got back in, a few hours later, they hadn't cleaned the toilet, but had doused the entire bathroom with water - even the toilet seat. Again, the toilet was filthy. After that, my door refused to lock. Yavuz saw me having problems with the door. He concluded that it needed batteries and said he would take care of it later. I told him I wasn't comfortable leaving my things behind an unlocked door. He told me there were cameras in every hallway and that he would definitely take care of it. I show up to my room 7 hours later and the door is not yet fixed. I call down and explain this to them in what little Turkish I know. I tell them the "room won't close"...they say they will send someone up immediately. Half an hour later, I call back and explain to them that the problem is the door. They finally send someone up. I show the guy that the door opens without a keycard. He simply looks at me and says to use the deadbolt instead. I try to explain that as a paying customer and single woman, I need a locking door. Yavuz runs in with a screwdriver and starts taking the batteries out of the door lock. At that point, I just started cursing him out, but he didn't understand a word of it. He just smiled and nodded and tried to pretend that he came back "later" as he had promised. "Later" is not supposed to be 7 hours later. A day later, the upstairs toilet started leaking onto my toilet. I realized that if I called them, they would do nothing about it, so I told them I needed a new room. After a day, I was allowed to move back into my old room. It had just been painted and was covered in paint fumes - and I have asthma. I tried to explain this to the concierge but, once again, she looked at me like a deer in headlights . She was, however, absolutely insistent that the maid come clean the two specks of dirt on the balcony. DO NOT STAY HERE! JUST DON'T DO IT!
