It was simple without distractions. I needed this, bc the days that followed were walking into this place of collapsing my thoughts and feelings. Tim's approach is simple and it's realistic. But it is only simple for the very reason: that Tim is extremely passionate about the subject and therefore knows it very well. Therefore going through the sessions you begin to learn concepts and in the process you begin to learn about yourself, your reactions, and how correction is possible. It's realistic / common sensical and when you realize this, you feel hope that change is possible. Re: coronavirus and severe asthma: "We all need to work together to slow the spread of the new coronavirus. If you're having trouble wearing a mask, try a different fabric or fit. Wearing some kind of breathable face covering is better than nothing. According to the WHO, medical masks when worn the right way do not cause you to breathe in more carbon dioxide or reduce your oxygen levels." So it won't reduce your oxygen intake but will somehow give you more asthma? For the record I HAVE SEVERE ASTHMA AND WEAR A MASK. This is what was so confounding to me. Somehow Miriam thinks it's ok that patients are breathing in her lobby with no masks, and that she should do talk therapy for hours with no face covering. Face shield will work too. Not cool what a waste of my time.
